The first anime I watched was the ever epic "Yu-Yu Hakusho." I was lucky enough to be woken up by the coyotes when i was 8(about 9 or 10 years ago) I could go back to sleep so I turned on Toonami and saw some kid beating up adults using "Spirit Energy" It was so awesome i tried for the week after i saw it to shoot a Spirit Gun!

I love shin chan! I can never get over the fact that he's such a perverted little child.

Probably Dragonball Z. Though I didn't know what an anime was at the time, so I referred to it as a cartoon. The first one that I watched AND recognized as anime would have been Inuyasha when it first came out.

90's FlashBack Time!!!

My first anime was either Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z, I'm not so sure. I was about 4 or 5....yes I can remember that far back cause I'm cool like that. My uncle (who always watched anime) was watching it and my cousin(same age) and I would sit down and watch it with him (even though we barely knew what was going on). I liked the art style a lot.Over time my mind subconsciously began watching similar cartoons on Tv
Sailormoon, Tenchi, Case Closed. Then I discovered Toonami and Adult Swim(my mom let me stay up on weekends :D). When I think it about now I watched every single anime that showed on those two programs.

I have to thank my uncle for introducing me to anime.I think he also introduced me G Gundam(freaken love that show) sometime after that.

And for the longest time I didn't know I was watching anime until I got older xD

I guess voltron or robotech. Though the first one I really watched religiously was DBZ. Had no idea what it was but I saw some guy chasing around a monkey on a tiny planet and just kept watching for some reason...

DBZ was my first one but I had no idea what exactly anime was when I was watching it, then I guess Pokemon, Digimon and Yugioh came after that but never considered it anime.

However, the first one I actually knew it was anime was Fullmetal Alchemist and I have been in love with anime ever since.
