My first anime was Princess Mononoke. I didn't even know what anime was at the time and only begged my father to rent it because the cover looked cool. Needless to say, that was one of the most amazing movies I'd ever seen. |

1970's Minoru Adachi's "Marine Boy" or Osamu Tezuka's "Kimba the White Lion" can't remember which i saw first but adored both as a child. Bought the Kimba DVD's with hopes of future grandchildren to watch it with.

I was very little when I started. The first was Sailor Moon, then Pokemon, after that was Dragon Ball Z. From Dragon Ball Z I started exploring all kinds of anime like Tenchi Muyo as an example. Other things too that were on Toonami or on Adult Swim like Cowboy Bebop. Without Sailor Moon, Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z I wouldn't have known about the world of anime and found my all time favorites :)
