Yu-Gi-Oh
Oman Star Racers
Pokemon
Digimon

I was around 6/7 years old, Whenever I woke up in the morning I watched these four, YGO made me feel soo weird... the drawings were different from every other "cartoon" and the story was much more developed and was not simply "Save the planet from yada yada and learn a lesson"

I didnt know it was "Anime" though, the first anime from which I KNEW was Anime was Sailor Moon,

Ahh Sailor Moon really did it for me

Excluding "Americanized anime" like Volton and Superbook which I saw when I was a little kid, the first "real" anime that I saw was Iria, in the mid-90s. I was in my mid-teens at the time.

The first anime I ever bought was Oh My Goddess.

First cut/edited anime anime? Voltron & Robotech

First uncut anime? Getter Robo G, Grendizer, Dangard Ace, Gaiking, Starzinger... god Bless Force Five. Thanks to it I got into anime as a preschooler and had somewhat of "classical education" in it XD

As a kid Ryoma Nagare, Duke Fleed, & Koji Kabuto were my Idols. Though I knew them as Homer, Orion, & Lance. They were why i wanted to be a Giant Robot pilot when I grew up.

Speed Racer was on Cartoon Network so I'd watch that occasionally, then Kids WB had Pokemon and the Cardcaptor Sakura butcher edit.

Other than those, Cardcaptor Sakura once I discovered online streaming and a marvelous show that for some reason Nelvana felt the need to completely rip apart.

Fist anime I watched was Dragonball, followed by the first Mobile Suit Gundam series. After Gundam i was hooked on anything related to mechs, cyborgs, androids. I would watch anime on and off up until last year.

Last year i was just sorting through the anime selection on Netflix (was bored as hell) and came across School Rumble, and Clannad. I thought what the hell I'll watch an episode. Thanks to that I've developed a guilty pleasure from watching any kind of harem or lovey dovey anime. And since been watching anime nonstop recently with the exception of School Days, after watching that it just made me feel dirty inside which made me take a little break.

My very first anime was Starzinger in 1989, when I was just five years old. Father had gotten one of the episodes on vhs from a local gasstation. I´ve seen it so m any times I know every line, every act and every background music that comes on with a certain scene. You´d be surprised how old this classic is, it´s from 1978.
