Hope you're having a Happy Friday! We kicked things off earlier to day the acquisition of Lychee Light Club! There are still some final pieces moving behind the scenes, but we will be updating the release date of this title as soon as those are settled, so keep checking back for announcements!

But let's keep the good times rolling, with another title coming to Crunchyroll: Aoi Sekai no Chushin de!

Aoi Sekai no Chushin de is set to broadcast on October 20 at 7 am Pacific Time and will be available to worldwide audiences except for Japan!

For those new to the series:
"The Ninterudo Empire and the Segua Kingdom have been locked in a war for supremacy over the land of Consume for many years. The powerful Ninterudo Empire under the leadership of Marcus, with many excellent killers possessing various special abilities, has gained the upper hand in the struggle, occupying the majority of Consume as well as the surrounding nations. The Segua Kingdom has been left with no plausible option but to fight defensively... until the arrival of Gear drastically turns the tides."



Lychee Light Club will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: North America, South America, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.

Based on an original manga by Usamaru Furuya, the domestic version of which is being released by Vertical Press, the plot centers around a group of middle school boys who form a club called the "Light Club", and create a machine that seeks out beautiful women. The machine runs entirely on--you guessed it-- lychee fruit, hence the title.



Synopsis:

The cramped town of Keiko-cho is stained black with factory exhaust and oil. Late one night, a piercing whistle echoes from some ruins in a seemingly empty corner of the town, accompanied by the eerie echoes of harsh words spoken in German. The sounds come from a group of nine boys dressed in the starched collars and caps of high school uniforms. There in the darkness stands a secret base built by these nine boys under the leadership of Zera, the ‘king of the ruins,’ known as the Light Club.

All those who lay eyes upon this secret base are subject to harsh punishment by the club members at the order of their revered leader, Zera. They are so defensive because, night after night, the members gather at the club to build a machine that they intend to use for some secret, sublime purpose.

Then one night, their machine, Lychee, awakens at last. What is the goal that the club has imposed upon this bizarre machine? And what fate awaits the Light Club, grasped in the hands of the tragic maiden, Kanon?

The curtain is about to rise on the horror story of these young boys who have chosen to remain beautiful forever and refuse to become ‘ugly adults,’ driven by the lust and madness born of their youthful purity and violence...”

Seitokai no Ichizon season 2 please

It's a comedy... according to gg subs, who wouldn't touch this show, it's a comedy packed with japanese sexual innuendos that are impossible to translate... after watching the first ep I can see kinda what they are talking about. So hopefully CR puts a good translator on it, but yeah it's a comedy 100%.

I re-watched the first ep, and it really isn't all that bad... as I had said I would have liked to have seen other things here, but it's not that bad.

More titles?!? YES!!! Hope they're amazinggggg
