well sometimes there are parts on the manga not on the anime, so i think it's still worth reading the manga. and some manga are drawn really well, even cuter then the anime.

yes it is....i think for shounen like bleach, the manga is drawn better than the anime....and manga usually has things youre not allowed to see on TV

manga is a good thing if it's based on it for example like bleach episodes r totally the same as the manga except it's too slow. sometimes you can't wait for the episode and want to know the next thing that's going to happen that's why it's better to check out the manga if you know if the anime is based on it.

If the manga is better than the anime (as is the case with Bleach) then yes, it's totally worth it. Or if the stories deviate a lot between the two, it's fun to read an alternate take on the events in the series, as with FMA.

Agreed, especially on the censorship. During Ichigo's training with the Vizard, his arm is completely cut off while he's in his hollow form and it regenerates. In the anime, he just gets a mild cut across his shoulder. LAME.

And yeah, the art quality is more consistent and the stories are void of filler.

I'd read the manga if I can't wait for the next episode of the anime

erm. quite worth. i usually watch anime episodes 1st then read manga. as in this anime stop at episode 26 but manga still continue. then i will read the manga which is episode 26 and onwards. but will not read again what i have watch in the anime. because doing that is wasting time. unless anime continues until manga end. then it will be a different story. usually manga have extras

Most of the time i read the manga first, then i watch the "episodes" because the "episodes" always exclude some events/plot from the manga, or sometimes the story plot is totally different.

I've noticed a lot more recently, when reading and watching the same series, the manga tends to go a lot deeper into the story. I know with Claymore, the story is still progressing, whereas it's not going any further currently with the anime.

Same with Love Hina. The manga and the anime went so far as to even have a different plot, kind of. (Got to the same conclusion a different way). Fullmetal Alchemist is another great one. The anime is totally complete, with a movie and everything, whereas the manga is still progressing once a month, and the story is completely different from the anime, which makes reading it seem like a completely different FMA. I love it, and reccomend reading AND watching your faves.

Sometimes anime has fillers other than stories from manga, so it's better to read than wait for the episodes.

I prefer to read the manga before watching the anime, because then I can complain about whats in the manga and not in the anime E.G .hack//Legend of the twilight bracelet, I was complaining for HOURS, so much fun.

I only watch the anime for the fight scenes where you can't really see what's happening in the manga.

It's worth reading the manga anyway. Usually, the anime is very/somewhat different than the manga. Besides, the manga usually has cuter pictures
