is it worth reading manga if there`s episodes?

personally ive always preferred manga to anime. the art looks alot more polished (generally anyway), and the story seems more genuine.

In any case, if the manga came before the anime, then I'll read the manga

Of course because most animes are different from the manga. Sometimes anime(s) cut stuff out from the manga that are sometimes really GOOD .

IMO, reading manga is better than watching the anime. Knowing the storyline before the animation is a good thing, so you can brag to all the people who don't read the manga about how you already know what's going to happen ... plus you wont get so annoyed if you really wanna know what's going to happen next and have to wait for the episode to release.

I think that the manga is usually better than the anime. I love reading manga because of the storyline and art, Animes sometimes have that but change stuff which is why i prefer manga. and they dont have bad fillers like some anime does xD

I like reading the Manga Better then Watching the Anime. Anime Usually has Fillers in it and Its really annoying. Manga has more to tell then the anime. Sometime The Anime loses it Touch with the Voice Actors (Like Rosario to Vampire) The manga ish wayy better then the Anime. The panties Shots are really annoying and I get really bored with Tsukane and Moka's "Momment" When Tsukane repeats Moka's name over and Over again OMG GET TO THE POINT ALREADY!

I like to Imagine there voices. and The Best thing about reading manga ish If you want to became a mangaka U can stop and Loook at the Drawing Unlike anime u have to pause wat ur watching.

Yes. You can see more of the story that way.

Ex. The Higurashi anime was based off the original game, and it left out SO many things. The manga is closer to the original (the game) than the anime is, so you have to read the manga if you liked the anime and want to see the story with more details.

Also for things like FMA the manga is almost completely different...

And like Hikori said.. sometimes there are lots of panty shots and they are really annoying. :/

I have to agree with that. I started out watching animes but ever since I started reading mangas I have a harder time going back to animes. The story is deeper and unchanged in the manga while in the anime most of the time its either changed ( Rosario+vampire) or incomplete (Suzuka) or a big mess (Ichigo 100%).
The only downside to manga are the mangas that are ongoing and take a while to release, since I have no patience. Usually animes tend to end at 26 episodes and so waiting once a week for an episode is no big deal but for mangas even with one chapter a week it could take quite a while to finish thus you need patience.

I prefer Manga over the Episodes really.

I mean... in an episode, they can like skip A LOT of things and like even if it makes sense as you watch it, its designed that way so that they can squish a couple of chapters of a Manga into a 23-24 minute episode and that means to cut of chunks and chunks of stuff.

Manga on the other hand is more thorough and more detailed. You can read it over and over and like.. you'll get the story since detail is placed in it. You get like 5 chapters at least in one Manga and like.. its cool! ( I think its cool)

I also think Manga is better cause you can bring it anywhere and read it cause its a "graphic novel" not like the episode.. you'll have to have a video player with you if you have to watch so yeah. That's what I have to say about it!

don't even get me started on Rosario+vampire. I mean the manga is soooooo much better and has a serious tone to it while the anime seems like a joke to me.

manga is a million times better. anime doesnt always follow the storyline accurately and then theres those stupid fillers that nobody cares about and are just there so the company makes more money off of it and animes extend all the unimportant scenes just to lengthen the series. animes are made up of all the oblivious marketing techniques that everybody hates

Well if the anime is completed, I'd watch that first then read the manga because it could have extra scenes in it. Otherwise if the anime is ongoing and so is the manga I'd say just pick one.
