If a girl likes you... the worst thing you could do is base it off an anime.
Just take the time and get to know her, talk with her more, maybe get her number. If you feel like you two are hitting it off...
... then by all means, ask her on a date and see where it goes!

I have had a few different girls like me and each has their own way of showing it. One was kind fo aggressive and i felt uncomfortable. Another was really friendly and I wasn't totally sure until she moved and her friend told me. Never take this advice and slap it as a stereotype for all women, each case should be examined differently.

And sometimes, she doesn't know her own feelings.

About 80% of the questions my guy friends ask me about women could be solved with them asking the woman in question about it instead of me. How am I supposed to know if she's into you or not? We aren't the Stepford Wives and we do not share a hive mind.

The other 20% are things like "Why does she get upset when I leave the toilet seat up?" and "Would she be offended/upset if I were to do *blank*?" The answers to those questions are of course "Because falling into the toilet at two in the morning sucks." and "If you have to ask if it's offensive the answer is yes."

It's not just guys though. Women suck at the communication aspect as well. This forum is a prime example of it for both genders. The amount of idiocy that gets posted here related to social situations is amazing. Learn to communicate properly people.

I wouldn't really know. When I like a person, I tell them. But then again, maybe that's not the kind of "like" you're hoping for. I really don't know the difference, to be honest. Oh well...

Women communicate, just in a bizarre language that is really difficult for everyone outside their immediate circle of friends to understand then when people don't understand they're befuddled as to why.

As for social idiocy...it's the internet. And on the internet everyone is a socially awkward penguin who doesn't know how to communicate in real life. Or Chris Hansen.

To an extent yes. This is even a new level on the internet that I've never seen before. I won't lie, I originally came here simply to promote my business because I figured anime loving people are the type of people that work well in my business model and it definitely has proven me correct. Unfortunately it seems the level of social awkwardness and general self-deprecation/self-loathing are more prominent here than in any other internet realms I've frequented, though if you know of others please let me know!

Dude, I'm with you on that. That's why I mentioned people wearing it on their sleeves. This amazing thing called communication only works when neither party is a tsundere or some other archetype that can't be honest with themselves.

Most people can't be honest with themselves, if they were, they'd realize how much they suck. I long ago realized I suck and thus spend every day of my life trying to improve so every day I suck a little less.

Not true. For example, I love Pomff because she says things like this:

Pomff wrote:

and

From my experience, a woman will tell you what she wants you to know, whether or not you understand what the hell she is talking about, or care to. As long as she is speaking to you, even if it's to tell you everything you ever did wrong, then she is showing some kind of interest in you. It's when she stops yammering away that you know she's finally sick of you and it's time to move on.
