Ello! Guest pass to who can conjure for me my thoughts.

I have recently moved, unfortunately my couch was not able to come with me. I have had a spark of creativity but am unsure as to what to do with it. I have a one and half bedroom upper; all the rooms have doors and ample closet space. Being that this used to be an average upstairs, my living room doesn’t feel like a living room and the half bedroom is rather small with no electrical outlets. Yet, I love this place.
ALSO: I don’t really invite anyone over to my place, I am too much of a schizoid to let anyone come inside, so having company rarely happens.

Here is where my thoughts start…
1. Forgo buying new couch.
a. Turn living room into an extra-large bedroom, having small seating/TV viewing area (just my red chair and TV mounted on wall)
b. Turn bedroom into a small home office
c. Turn half bedroom into a dressing room (this room is right next to the bathroom)

2. Forgo buying new couch.
a. Turn living room into an extra-large bedroom, having small seating/TV viewing area (just my red chair and TV mounted on wall)
b. Turn bedroom into a dressing room/home office
c. Turn half bedroom into a craft room (sketching, painting, stained glass, tiling, photography) - The closet in this room is large enough for a small dark room!

I like option 2, however I do not like the idea of having my clothes and computer in the same room and I do not want my computer in my bedroom.

What would you do? Because there is always the option of leaving the bedroom the bedroom, the half bedroom a dressing room and the living room the living room and buy new furniture. BUT, having a crafting room would be stupendous!

Thank you. Like I said guest pass for who is most creative in giving advice. THANKS!!

i like idea #1, except if you want all of the possible rooms listed you can turn the half bedroom in to a craft room and dressing room. that sounds the most creative to me, that is if you want all rooms listed.

The half room is approximately 5X5 the closet maybe 3X5, so that wouldn't really work with the amount of clothes and shoes I own.

I am rather stumped over something so ridiculous!

The biggest problem really is my computer and to as where I should place it.

But that thread doesn't have a specific topic for the guest pass, so the above comment is unnecessary as this isn't a duplicate thread.

Anyway I like option 2 as well because if you go to paint or do a craft where are you gonna do it at? you could move things around to make sure nothing gets paint on them, but to do it everytime will get old (im running into this issue with the armchair in my living room). Im sure your computer's feelings won't be hurt if it has to share a room with your clothes and if you keep your laundry basket in the closet, the only time you'll see clothes is when you look down, in a mirror, or change your clothes. Atleast thats my opinion on the matter.

That is fine, No biggie.

I did notice this, but the thread was more for giving away guest passes and not actual discussion.

My thought was I didn't want t to just give it away, rather gift the guest past to someone who has thought.

I figured there were others out there to who think similarly. And while going through the threads, there were quite a few on advice, so I just put the two together.

However, thank you for your input. much enjoyable.

I have over a hundred pairs of shoes ( I collect them ) which I usually display on wall shelving. hence the desire for a changing room.

Last resort is I will put my computer in with my clothes. I worry I will feel overwhelmed and drowning in fabric if I do this.

I take attend my classes mostly online and its a heavy workload, so id rather not have the distraction.

Would it be weird to put my computer in the kitchen. lol. I have an awkward dinning space, so there is room.
