Ohhh as I remember it, it was either the first Wipeout game or Wipeout 2097. I believe I was looking the buy some NES games on sale back then.
First game I ever owned on PS1 was FF7 back in Jan. '98. Bought it together with the console.

For me i would say that my first Playstation 1 game i played is Legend of Dragoon my favorite RPG game with good aciton fantasy type game with good cutscenes when characters actually speak in them also get to use the dragon ability when transformed into a Dragoon. ^^,)>
