Welcome lovely guests, young and old, boys and girls, mortals and immortals at this wonderful festival of Grusel City. I'm the Pumpkin Master leader of this fantastic attraction occuring every year but still hidden from most. Only few know of this place and fewer want to leave it afterwards gihihihihi. It's the realm of the living and the dead and also sometimes of the undead.
Have fun my dear guests and collect as much memories as you can, for it may be your only chance to truly see.
But be aware of the forest surrounding the city. Guardians protect the borders and if you aren't careful their claws and fangs will swallow you gihihihi.

Enjoy your stay until the 31st when the true Hallow Eve begins... gihihihiiii!!!

Natalie dug her hands deep in her coat, her breath fogging as she walked through the festival.
Glowing pumpkins hung around, candles burning inside the grotesque grins of the carved pumpkin faces. Hundreds of colorful stalls, rides and dark tents decorated the scenery.
The weather was chilly but the festival was full of people.
The grounds seemed to stretch for miles, although she could see dark woods far in the distance.

She went over to a stall and bought a hot drink of apple cider. Taking a sip, she glanced down to the note in her hand and read the words again. Then she put the note back in her pocket and looked around.

Valentine smiled as she wandered through the stalls, not bringing attention to herself, smirking at the fact no-one really cared about her attire. This was the one night of the year where she could mingle without needing to worry about who or what she was, and she liked it.

Once she'd picked up some halloween candies, as well as some ice cream, she sat down and just munched on candy until the spirits got restless, and the real fun began.

"Well, young lady, what do you think of our little yearly celebrating? Is it to your liking?" The mummy barkeeper asked a harmonica-playing Marissa shoving some alcohol over to her. Rissa stopped for a moment and downed the drink in one shot then glanced over at the mummy. "Odd, is the only word I can describe it. Strange creatures like you running all over the place and no nice bloody game to kill time." She continued playing on her harmonica playing a sad tune.
The mummy raised an eyebrow... or whatever resembled a normal eyebrow. "Oh, but we have many games miss. Pumpkin Throwing, Ghost Castle, Broken Mirror, Wolf Cry, Schnitzel Jagd of the Grauen and many other things. Well and if I see correctly you are of the aiming-kind and what luck you have that there is a contest determining the best shooter. Winning prize is participating on the true Hallows Eve games and your weight measured in gold. Last years winner is also participating in tonight's games." Rissa's eyes gleamed at this little challenge. She already knew who would win this competition but was thrilled at the thought of showing  off her abilities. Grinning she asked, "Where is this competition? And don't bother with visual signs just tell me the directions."
Oh this night was going to be aaallllll fun.

Jericho mingled in to well with the others, wearing a masquerade mask and all black, his razor teeth shining in the pumpkin lights. with him Evaleen with her sad expressions followed...or more like floated behind him as his date "Come and have some fun Evaleen, or if you do not like it here I am going to take you to our room and have some fun" Jericho held her close and chuckled."

Playing some games Ginko and Boheimi were at the stalls, Ginko won some huge stuffed rabbits for the young girl "Are you having fun?" Boheimi carrying all her new stuffed toys, her original one sitting on top nodded making Ginko luagh. Vladmere and Alina walk by them, Alina literaly holding on to Vlads arm so tight that she is practically just hanging from it, everytime they passed someone remotely scary she jumped making Vlad chuckle as he counted "that was the 10 time you jumped now....maybe we should go get something to eat to calm you down."

Over near another booth that had alot of huge soft stuffed animals, or used too, Zax has one almost all the prizes on that one game for little Mai, she layed on most of them enjoying the feel of the soft plush toys "Now Mai, you must not go overboard, feel where you are going so you dont fall."

Teo had not planned to arrive in town in time for the festival but was rather glad he did. Being a nomad he and his tribe was, he has never been to such an event. He was was stunned by the beauty of it all, the lights, the costumes and the food. He wandered through the streets, enjoying the bustling scenery. He smiled to himself, remembering the nostalgia of the festivals he used to have with this tribe. Looking around, he saw happy faces and busy merchants.

'How nice this is...I wonder if the tribe was around, would we have opened a stall in here?' Teo thought, stopping by a stall to observe the fun and games. 'Probably wouldn't...we're too isolated for this kinda festivities...' he thought, wandering off once more. Feeling slightly hungry, Teo approached a food stall to buy a small snack for himself. Munching on the food item, he found a seat by the fountain and sat down. From his point of view, Teo had a good view of the activities happening in the town square.

Music pulsated and people danced, Teo watched festivities but never joined. This reminded him of the happy days when he was younger so much rather than joining, he burned it into his mind, knowing that there are nice places out there and it wasn't always doom and gloom.
