Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has some good podcasts they could recommend to me.
I currently listen to: Idle Thumbs 3 Moves Ahead Giant Bomb Quarter to 3 Moviecast My Brother, My Brother and Me Satellite Dish and Radio Lab and I used to follow Gamers with Jobs, The Shaft and DG Radio. Also, I dislike The Bugle and Weekend Confirmed. I prefer lighter stuff, so I can listen to it while working. I have a cool podcast on the Battle of Stalingrad that I've been unable to listen to, since I can't really focus on it. Comedy would be good, games and hobbies, history and science are fine, too. Oh, and production values are really important. There are far too many podcasts that are "poppy" or "clicky" and anime podcasters especially seem to have no clue how to NORMALIZE THEIR VOLUME! I really don't like listening to podcasts where the audio isn't crisp. |

You should check out the comedy button. It's made by a bunch of people in the games industry, although they rarely talk games. They have high production value and are hilarious.

The only ones that i follow and like are:
That's yo garbage(some gaming news but mainly watch it for the funny commentary although it might be a little much for some people) Podtaku and otakugeneration are pretty self explanatory but podtaku has gigguk and disturbed jeans in it. Since these are the only podcasts i listen to i don't know what The Bugle and Weekend Confirmed are like which means I might be giving you some useless suggestions.(sorry if you didn't like these) |

Nice Hyperion! I agree! Spill.com is a great podcast website. They got something for everyone. They started with just movie reviews but have branched out into dvd/blu ray releases, video games, comics, and others like Lets Do This! (my favorite) is just like friends hanging out talking about things and taking questions. An awesome website!!
I'm listening to em everyday and listen to everything they put out in between my Anime's |

Anime World Order used to have the same problem, but it's been... 3 years, so I'll try it again. Things You Missed sounds cool. I see it's by the StuffYouShouldKnow guys, and that's always great. It also seems to be liked by Dan Carlin fans, and he has an amazing historical podcast. So I'll definitely add that to Itunes., I know Fast Karate was advertised on MBMBAM, but they didn't give much info about it. Any chance you could give me a little more about it? j226109 wrote: What i listen to related to games. If anyone has any good comedy ones post them. Or Lovecraft. Bikkuri! I will say, if you happen to like the Daily Show, you might enjoy the Bugle. As I said above, I found it a bit mean-spirited for my taste. But it might work for you. Also, My Brother My Brother and Me, and pretty much anything on the Maximum Fun network are good. MBMBAM is definitely a favorite of mine. |

Podcasts from the BBC are top quality in terms of production and content. if you like radiolab, check out The infinite monkey cage. http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/timc for humor, perhaps Ricky Gervais podcasts are your cup of tea?
