I also live in Brazil, which gets even less content than UK for being a latin american country, but there are a lot of animes that are available and I wanna watch, and as long as there is something here for me, I plan on supporting CR. Besides, I noticed that a lot of the new animes from the past season and the current fall season are being broadcasted, such as SOA, From The New World, Total Eclipse and some others, which is not perfect, but it's a great improvement, so we have to keep our hopes high for a better scenario.

I agree as seasons have progressed alot has been done to get a far greater amount of new shows to a wider audience. It saddens me to see so many posts in the comments that read ' unavailble in your region ' but it's these posts that show crunchy that they still have work to do.
it's through disscusions like this that these issues get noticed. hopefully they'll start to sort out the back catalogue problems, as simulcasts bring new people to the site. The back catalgue is important to keep them coming back here.

It's great to see people can still discuss stuff like this rationally

According to NISA, Toradora and Kimi ni Todoke are going to be added to Crunchyroll. I'd assume those are the next two announcements.

oh well they spoiled it but it's pretty cool anyway.

But the real question is WHEN???

I'm just confused as to why they get us excited only to spoil it with a stupid kid show. How is that "exciting" to the staff at CR?

Seems the quote is broken, tried fixing it.

Humm... who knows how the staff deal with it, I'm assuming they just deliver the news and fans take it how they want. I'm a huge fan of Kimi Ni Todoke and don't see it as a kid show at all so I'm super excited for it. Proper translations, YES!!!

As to why there aren't more mature shows they could put out or why they don't have a little more say on popular series like Skip Beat... It's all a mystery. I'm hoping the more we speak up, the more they will do about it.

Tehe... I liked it too...but their age always bugged me. And I could never really choose who I wanted Amu to end up with. Lol. Didn't matter anyways, they were in elementary school for goodness sake...

Now I know not to get excited when the staff is.

Edit: Now, Toradora is more like it! I was getting worried about the staff's judgment.

Maybe they should charge subscriptions for the U.S more and other countries less by the amount they can actually watch?
although that would complicate things it would be fairer

That would only be fair if anime cost only a fixed price per subscriber, and there were no contract costs, no subtitling costs, no infrastructure costs, etc..

Unless things have changed greatly in the past couple of years, Crunchyroll has more paid subscribers in the U.S. than all other countries combined. That gives a much larger pool to cover those fixed costs per series.
