Okay let me help you. 1. Don't care to see tough guy in maid outfit. At least go butler so my eyes aren't bleeding. 2. Storyline is girl suddenly gets fortune but is a kendo user because she hurt her lover with a poisoned bento (what the heck? seriously?) 3. Fanservice is the only way they tried to keep the show entertaining, which is sad because it was in your face all the freaken time (don't know how it made it to manga serialization, let alone anime release)

Well, the whole episode they were just talking in the park and it just bored me to death. So, just like that.....I dropped it... And im also thinking about dropping Reborn! because every episode so far is the same. He gets shot by a bullet, his clothes are ripped off, and he gets super strength..

I dropped it after the first episode because it was cliche and made me more uncomfortable than it should have. I don't regret it for a second, considering the things I've heard about the episodes which follow.

"i'll protect you no matter what", "i'll protect you with my life", etc. it was too campy for my liking (and i've seen a lot of cheesy stuff) and from that point i felt that the female protagonist would've been one of those annoying passive ones to have men "protecting" her {"-_-}

I still think episodes 1-16 of the first season are boring as hell but after that it picked up a lot. Anyway I tried to watch it at least 12 times in 4 years and never got past episode 4 usually didn't get past a few minutes into episode 1. Also there was this older anime about a girl who was going to town to be a gymnast or something like that. I dropped that after about 8 minutes. Just seemed dull.

arc_salvo 17534 cr points Send Message: 31 / M / Near Los Angeles, CA Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 2/1/13 Tonari ni Kaibutsu-Kun (Mistranslated as My Little Monster) I gave the first episode about 3-4 damn chances, and made it about 2/3rd of the way into the first episode, but the main male character irritated and offended me so much that I just had to stop watching. Also, the plot wasn't interesting to me either. I can't watch a "romance" anime if it's one where you know the relationship is set in stone from the beginning that the couple that's the main focus isn't interesting to me. And the main male lead is one of the most offensive male characters to me ever. I just could not deal with the idea that he's predestined to be with the extremely cute female protagonist.

Episode 1 is boring and frankly, sucks, but Episode 2 is incredibly innovative in its storyline and hilarious. Episode 2 to the end is where Sket Dance gets good. As for Gintama, the further you get in, the better the quality gets until it becomes something of a masterpiece later on. It's not an accident that it has over 250 episodes.
