Hi

Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix my streaming videos freezing every few minutes? Ive tried the DNS thing and the cache etc and ive got enough bandwidth but every few minutes my videos are freezing and I have to refresh the page to get them going again.

Tried with IE and Chrome both exactly the same.

Driving me mad!

Cheers

I have this problem with 1080p videos, on 720 everything works fine. I have 10mbps so it is enough. I tried opera and firefox at windows7 and chrome at ubuntu (both 64bit).

It started in August or September, I am not sure exactly

I'm having the same problem. The video either give a 2-sec choppy play back then stops after a couple second or just stop completely. Tried with IE, Opera, Firefox and Chrome on win7 x64. I thought it was a network issue so I tried doing the steps on the video guide. Speedtest gave 30Mbps and ping at 20-30ms. I'm sure this is not a network issue on my end since pausing and allow the video to buffer tends to solve the network issue but in this case it just stops completely.

I tested this on 2 different desktops and 1 laptop with the laptop on a different internet line.

Edit: I seem to have no problem with SD though

Having the same problem too.

I'm using Chrome so I don't think it is a browser issue. With as many people as there are having it. I think this is a problem on Crunchyroll's end. I noticed that people are posting lag issues in the comments of shows.

I hope they fix it.

I'm also having this problem with CR and I've had to go all the way down to SD or watch on my PS3 for the issue not to occur.
I have a 150 Mbps / 65 Mbps connection and this just start today I went back and watch 2 of the shows I watched prior and it did it on them as well, all versions of browsers did not work for me as well.

Issue started happening a little after 10 pm Eastern for me and has not let up. I wonder if it is an issue on their end at this point.

Also I want to note I have not updated or uninstalled anything recently either.

I have the same problem, my guess is that it's somehow a problem of sustaining connection to the servers. I monitor my internet usage and every few minutes, the connection is dropped completely, and so of course the video stops, sometimes it will reconnect by itself, but usually only for an instant, and will not load more than a few seconds before once again disappearing. Refreshing the page will help to get another 2 or 3 minutes of playback before it once again is dropped.

I use Chrome on Windows 7 64-bit. I have tried all the suggestions from the video playback problem thread but nothing helps. I can hardly watch videos any more, it's just to annoying to keep refreshing, sometimes even that doesn't work.
Of course I've tested my connection and it works perfectly, I have no problem streaming from other sites or downloading of any other sort.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I get these problems with FF and Chrome. Forwarding the episode 1 second or refreshing the page starts the stream right away again, but sometimes it just stops 3-5 secs after(doing the 1 sec skip). Refreshing the page seems to keep it going longer before it stops.

I've had the same issue happen 3 times with the newest episode of Hunter x Hunter. It acted as if the show ended and only way to continue was to refresh the browser
