Hah.
Have you ever found it amusing, if your friends don't use crunchyroll because they refuse to watch japanese... so they watch everything on the TV, such as:
Naruto
Bleach
Death Note
etc.
And they come up to you the day after it airs like, "Oh my god I'm so excited for next episode!"
and you go, "Oh I know right!"
And then they say something completely different from what you expected! Like, something from an episode you saw months ago...

Or even when you are venting about something that happened in an episode that you thought was recent in her time... when really you just spoiled something important from the anime!

Am I the only one who experiences this...? ^^''''

Might be Spoilers... I don't know
Sorry if a topic like this has already been created! ^^'' I don't know

If i had a buck for every time that happened!

My friend watched the English version of Naruto

so he goes around saying "Believe it!"

every time he does, i die a little inside

and he goes up to me like

"OMG DUDE!!! ZABUZA ISN'T DEAD!!"

and i go, "I know"

and most of the time i joke around and say stuff like

"Sakura dies in episode 123"

and he goes NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

its funny really

I don't think it's a duplicate but it's better off in the anime section probably. If you're not sure wether a similar thread already exists or not, use the forum search or/and check the thread indexes.

but I mean he is right....
anyway...
if Japanese anime were to be transferred to America....
that would mean that the show that are to come out are already edited!!!!

Pssh then they are stupid.... just waiting for the next English dub when you can watch it online with subs....there is actually no difference besides the language audio....and possibility the episode might have been edited.

Meh it might be similar to licensing i have no idea though...

Well, a lot of the time, the Japanese cast females for male roles. Remember Fullmetal Alchemist? They had a woman playing an 18 year old. I guess you can prefer the Japanese language, but I would discredit America for bad casting any more than I would the Japanese....or at least nowadays I wouldn't. Also, considering the Japanese are responsible for a lot of editing for American versions, I would probably put them to blame for a lot of older dubs too.

Well, I wouldn't introduce my friends to a lot of subbed anime. That is because I try to introduce them to something better first. I just recently introduced a friend to FMA and he can finish that in 4 days. Even 2 if he watches nonstop. I do remember when my friends were talking about FMA a long time ago when it was on AS and I already finished it. I do have friends that like to talk about anime where I'm well over a season ahead of them, but most of the time they aren't so good that its worth mentioning. I just say that I have seen it and tell them my opinion of it without giving spoilers.

most suck, because all the funny parts are usually taken out cuz america won't show alot of cussing and ecchi scenes and they cut out the gay people or change them. so a lot is lost, in my opinion.

I say,
I like watching animes with the japanese dubbed.
the american ones always changes words which completely ruins everything
and they edit all the "overated" things
