So, can you do it on Halloween? Many grocery stores try to get rid of all their remaining pumpkins on Halloween Day, sometimes for, like, $1 a piece; it's a good chance to pick up several for carving practice. Oh, and on that note, what about multiple entries?

Also, if anyone's looking to get fancy, a garde manger ( gard manjhe ) kit can really help.
