I'm too young to be getting too old for this.

killbethy it's interesting (and really funny in a twisted way) to see what an anime body (the big boob, tiny waist, toothpick legs) that guys get so riled up over really translates into in reality. It's frightening. Please don't lump every guy into that category. Also, I find this girl fascinating. She was pretty at one time, but now shes just a... freakish parody of herself. Not attractive at all. |

All anime characters I've ever seen have emotion in their eyes and personality in their faces.... She's missed out on the very basic of details that defines anime characters and looks like a porcelain doll >.<
Good Job. |

Only time you should look liek an anime character is if your cosplaying or your hair is designed or naturally like that of an anime character. This is just plain stupid.

Look at the whole ulzzang fad in Korea and other Asian countries and Koreans' fascination with plastic surgery! |

tofukins wrote: Did anyone else notice her almost non existence waist? She must have pulled that corset pretty tight. Apparently the tiny waist is done through plastic surgery... it's a process where they remove the lower "floating" ribs of a person's rib cage. It's supposed to be extraordinarily dangerous and painful with a 6-month recovery time, and is rarely done in countries like the US. Apparently, it's starting to gain a lot of popularity in South Korea because it allows for an "S-shaped" body. Corset training actually changes the placement of your internal organs over time, usually resulting in a buldge under the waist, because the bodies intestinal track has been pushed lower. Rib removal doesn't have that effect (it keeps the stomach flat) and has more immediate results, whereas corset training can take many years to significantly shrink someone's natural waist size. /shudder. The idea of being cut open and having a rib removed terrifies me. That's a whole different ballpark from double eyelid surgery or breast implants. I like to think that our skeletal structures should be a bit more important than to be changed up for cosmetic purposes. Maybe we should start shaving people's femurs so they can have smaller thighs. Ick ick ick. |

Although some people think differently, 2-D girls belong in the 2-D world and should stay there.
Because when they come into our world, it gets creepy |

The third picture from the top, it actually looks like an photograph of two barbie dolls.. Say what you will, you can't deny that they've succeeded in what they were trying to accomplish, as unhealthy as their ideal might be..
I won't judge them for who they are, and as long as it makes them happy I guess it's their lives, their choice.. But I keep thinking that someone should've been able to intervene before these girls started seriously risking their health and lives for these physical changes and surgeries. No physical "ideal" is worth shortening your lifespan. All that, and the question of their mental health aside, if I met these two in real life I'd probably be freaked out, but mostly curious.. I'd probably ask a ton of questions.. |
