Yum's, because my sister and brother-in-law own it!
VGM--Filipino grocery serving hot food. Lumpia, anyone?
Murphy's Bar--great burger and chicken wings, and the bartender always puts one of the tv's on Cartoon Network for me.

I can't remember the name but I know it has Thai in it..maybe Thai Orchid or something like that. It's small and you'd completely walk past it without thinking twice about it. It's right next to a supermarket

I know this is gonna sound cliche, but it's a Japanese restaurant called Miyako's. Not to be confused with a Japanese steakhouse where they cook in front of you, this place serves hibachi food fast and it's always cooked perfectly and has great taste (and of course the awesome sauces that come with it). You get a soup, salad, and a full meal (including hibachi cooked vegetables, fried rice, and a protein such as chicken) for $9...huge portions for the money.

I live on the Florida coastline, so we have a lot of local seafood restaurants that are really good too.

Sounds great, you can't lose when the food is great AND there are large portions...I envy you sir. :)

I know! I'm really glad there's such a good, cheap place nearby. In fact, I'm getting a meal from there tonight, talk about coincidence (or talking about it made me hungry for it lol)

Alderwood Bistro : Truly amazing food. Almost everything is made with fresh local ingredients. I have never gone there and had something that wasn't incredible.

my favorite are the Truffled French Fries with Ritrovo truffle salt, Vella dry jack, parsley & aioli (soooooo good)

or their Mussels : Wood-fired Kamilche mussels, mirepoix, Pernod, cream, Live Bread crostini (just to die for)

I live in Sequim, Washington btw~

I live in Los Angeles so there's a TON of really good restaurants unique to the area. My favorite though is a fast food chain called Tommy's. They're known for their amazing chili burgers. Every time my friends and I hang out, it's usually capped with a 2 AM visit to the original Tommy's.

I don't know because I don't go to restaurants, they'll probably end up preparing and serving my food the wrong way and then I can't eat it.

This place called Alonzo's is probably the best in the area/city/town. Lots of quality plate lunches/island food, Hawaiian flank steak, char siu chicken, bbq'd chicken, garlic fried chicken, beef stew, loco moco... So good, but so expensive.
