Overused anime character types/plot lines that you are never tired of
|
The wimpy main character that becomes stronger overtime and learns lessons along the way. I don't like overly strong main characters starting off. Good example is Beelzebub except Beelzebub had such a good plot that it is ok for it.

Hmmm.... I think it would have to be:
-Typical anime where some dude/chick discovers how he actually has magical powers -Those weird yet mysterious people who has some sort of magical ability going on with their eye -Typical mean/anti-social guy falls for the energetic girl blah whatever |

The spunky (often short) Tsundere is something I can never get enough of.
The shy female childhood friend who pines away for the main character. I know they're never gonna get him, but I root for them anyway. |

Definitely this :D And the naive character who just wants to help everyone <3 I will never tire of them. |

"- I never tire of the whole: new female exchange student in the middle of the school year is introduced and shenanigans occur with the main character against his will"
- I don't know, I thought it was hilarious when that stuff happened but after seeing it approximately 173947398472985749847984729847298472 times... well, not so much anymore. I mean, now I can guess this shit from the start as soon as I see a school-type setting. "- I'm also never tired of the mysterious girl type who usually has violet or white hair and some awesome eye color." - This, I can agree with. It's the mysterious nature that makes them interesting. Maybe if coupled with a dandere personality or maybe a concealed yandere. I never tire of it. - I also never, never, never, EVER get tired of tsundere girls... okay, well, ones that aren't in C3. Fuck that cliche shit. - I love loli's. Anime/manga needs MOAR!!1! - Harems are great, if written right. Yes, I know, there are plenty of awful harums out there but there are also many well-written ones. ~ I'll stop now, before this turns into a Wikipedia page... |

Thinking of something cool to say...

I never really get tired of the cute, shy, innocent, young woman who lacks confidence. Madoka, Nagisa, Hinata, etc etc. The calm, cool, collected characters like Sasuke and Jin never bother me either.

Are you okay with your current position?

Well, I never get tired of animes/mangas where the characters start out insecure and separate and then end up united against a common enemy. The best ones show not only the power aspect of it but how they're all friends. Inuyasha, Hunter x Hunter, Reborn!, Kenichi: The mightiest disciple, yu Yu hakusho, and Kenshin are some of my faves. The manga Noblesse does this too. I love it! Whenever I make a top anime list this type will always make up the list. As for characters I like the ones who are powerful but not overly emotional. They also tend to be quiet and aren't usually the main character. I guess examples would be Hibari from Reborn!, Karama from Yu Yu Hakusho, Kurapika from Hunter x Hunter, and Kyoya from Host Club. |
