Yea there has been a lot of unfortunate mishaps and things that I regret and wish I could redo it but because of those experiences, whether they be the positive or negative ones, it has molded me into the person that I like being. Life is full of unexpected turns and events that can't be avoided but what I can at least hope for is a fine balance between the good and the bad and sometimes even the ugly. In my opinion, because these things happen, life is ever so worth living and everyday is like an unexpected surprise or treat that has yet to be unwrapped or opened.

I got two university degrees, even though I was depressed for 3/4 of my life. I am a qualified teacher even though I'm shy as anything. Other people might not see it, but I can see myself that I'm a fighter (figuratively) and I'm proud of that fact.

In the end, I learned to not just like but also love myself. I realized this one thing: "You cannot love another person if you don't even know how to love your own self in the first place".. It's like you have to learn the basics of loving by doing it to yourself before you'll be able to give it to others. Hatred comes from fallacies and Love comes from truth.

I have been through soo many ups and many downs in my life and in only the last couple of years I have learned a lot about my personality and what I stand for in general. I know that I am strong and I am no more ashamed nor apologize for being confident like I used to do when I was younger....there are many haters in life that will put lots of effort to bring you down just for the simple fact that you are happy and they are not or because you are confident and they don't quite understand how to be confident. I stand up for myself and believe in myself even if no one around approves of me and THAT is why I am strong and awesome.
