Sitting around the fountain located at the central park of Larsa, Argo opens up her menu and starts reading Cardinal messages. She then notices a countdown of some sort.

"6 hours... I'm guessing this will be the time when Cardinal updates will happen and the mapping progress the players made today will be counted. This means-" unable to finish her sentence, she gulped the remaining words she was about to say. "Does this mean the boss room will be revealed?"

Collecting information is Argo's specialty. She had invested a huge amount of time and effort levelling up her utility skills such as Hide, Tracking, and Eavesdropping in exchange to being weak with Combat-oriented skills. This is why she only carries daggers around. "I might not be a big help on the front lines, but knowing the enemy first is better than charging head-on. Knowledge is power". Murmuring by herself, she started walking towards the nearest Shops, gathering intel on market prices and rare drops.

Looking at his level, Wolf was now satisfied. "We're done here," Wolf said to the players around him. He knew anyone reckless enough to follow him this deep into the forest was going to be strong later in the game. "Lets go back to town and stock up. Anyone who knows that they want to be part of the front lines, meet me at the Northern exit of town 6 hours from now."

Teleport - Larsa

Wolf checked out his inventory. Success. He was now rolling in dough. His only items were bottles of wine, which he felt he didn't need anymore. "I gotta find that one girl," Wolf began. "I owe her my life." And with that, he made his way to an inn.

Zwei nodded to the wolfman before he teleported. Zwei then took out his own teleporting crystal and teleported back to larsa.

He looked over his inventory before he found a bar that he could sit down in a dark dimlit corner. He ordered a beer and sat down, pondering over the strange sensation he had felt in the combat area.

While Blacknite crept through the bushes he came across a small camp. There was a fire in the center and four logs placed around it. There did not appear to be anyone around so he approached slowly. Wondering who was supposed to be here looked for any clues as to who it belonged to.

Seeing no one he started to look for anything useful that was left behind. There was a medium sized chest in the corner, but it smelt like a trap. "Oh hell" he said as he approached the chest drawing his sword as he did so. As he stood in front of the chest he wondered what would be left in the middle of nowhere.

Just as he reached to open the lid six elves jumped into the light of the fire, and the sun peaked over the horizon. Blacknite settled into his defensive stance and waited for them to make the first move.

The elves did not make him wait long, two jumped at him from behind and tried to catch him unawares, but he was waiting for it. He turned around ducked down to avoid the swinging swords, and performed a «horizontal» taking both of them out. Leaving four.

Just as he was thinking that he might get out this without a scratch two elves jumped the fire and landed beside him swinging their swords before they had even landed. As he parried the attacks from those two he saw out of the corner of his eye the two reamining elves had spears, and they were moving to flank him on either side.

He started to think that he had bitten off more then he could chew. Maybe he was goiing to die here and never get the chance to do the things that he wanted to do. No, he needed to do. He needed to take matters into his own hands and finish his promise. To do that he needed to survive, then the world started to shrink, and like an old friend coming to see him he got back to his place, his zone.

Wolf left the inn, fully healed. He liked this place, but not enough to want to stay here. He knew there was a high floor up there where he could live.

Going out for a walk, he noticed the bulletin board placed besides the portal that takes you from floor to floor. He placed his message, dead center, upon the bulletin. It read:

To the strong players of Aincrad,
The location of the boss room is still unknown but I've narrowed it down to only a few places.
I am leading a team of front line players and we are heading towards the boss room. If you are
interested in becoming part of the front lines with me, meet me at the Northern exit of Larsa in
approximately 4 hours. I am the muscular giant wearing a fur coat with a wolf's head as a hood.
If you still can't find me, I'll be holding up a six foot long sword straight into the air when the
time comes to strike. Be stocked and mentally prepared when you get there.

From the Front Lines, Wolf

Everything was slowing down, but he was moving faster. This, this was what he was looking for when he first had come into this game. He was looking for the experience, the joy of battle. He parries a strike from one of the swords and then sees a spear coming from his right, “so slow” he chuckles as he redirects the spear into one of the two elves in front of him.

One down.

Then he kicked the spear into the other elf in front of him, causing a stun effect. Not wasting any time he ends the elf’s life easily.

Two down.

This left only the two spear wielders; they would be tough, but not tough enough. He glanced at his health, it was in the red but he had «Battle Healing». It was only 10 HP every 10 seconds, but it was enough. It had to be enough. Jumping over the spear that came from his right he landed right beside the spear wielder. He speared his sword into his mid section, killing it.

Three Down.

The last elf had recovered and was preparing to strike again. Black did not have any special moves yet like «Weapon Break» but he had something just as good. Jumping back he got out of the range of the spear and took a pose that most would have thought crazy. He then threw his sword hitting the elf low in the stomach, but it was enough. With his health blinking at him but slowly being healed he took a look in the chest. There he saw what he had risked his life for. There was one teleport crystal and a bottle of beer. He then used both and headed for the inn.

He needed a nap.

(p.s. was bored so decided to make a short story. Hope it is slightly entertaining.:))

Yuuki had gathered her supplies that she had run out of, when an idea hit her. Why didn't she just look at the items she recently got? Opening her list, she scrolls through her items lit and found she now had two more telepotation crystals, some knifes and other small, one time use items, but one thing caught her eye. It was a small charm that looked to be part of a charm bracelet. Opening it happily, she equipped it to her necklace from Vyse and admired it. It looked to be made out of jade, an a swirling patterned consumed the inside. It was very pretty.

Yuuki was exploring the town. It had some good bars, good shopping stalls, and a very great weapon enhancement shop, in which she upgraded her sword. Instead of a plain, red hilt, and double edged blade, it now had a longer range of attack, more endurance, and the design on the jolt changed to a piercing orange-red. Fingering a piece of her blue hair, she stopped at the Bulletin Board, where numerous notes and quests were placed. As she scanned the papers, Yuuki noticed a sign which bodily state a meeting place for a group of willing front liners.

Seemed interesting enough. But, she still had another 2 hour wait. Making a mental note to check it out, Yuuki walked away and continued exploring the town in search of a place to have some fun.

Wolf raised his sword high into the air for everyone to see. His medium length, black, scruffy hair covering his face. "I can't win this fight alone." Wolf began, his words reaching amongst the market. "Please, lend me your strength."

He turned to face the field, he knew where to go. All of the places have been checked except for one. Wolf, he wore an ankle long, fur coat with a wolf's head used for a hood. His weapon was none other than a six foot long, one foot wide, great sword with a hilt able to fit four fists. Standing barely over 6 foot, 185 cm, the sword rests diagonally on his back, almost reaching the floor.

His golden eyes turned to the crowd once more. "A powerful enemy awaits us. Let's not keep him waiting," Wolf said taking his first step towards the horizon.

Black followed close behind the beheamoth. He knew that he shouldn't be here drawing attention but damn it he wanted a piece of the action. He had worked hard and he needed to get as much space between him and the people pursuing him as possible. Still wearing his cloak and leather armor he had his brand new katana on his back and a full load of throwing nails. He was shorter but he used speed as a weapon and damn it he was going to use it all against whatever they were up against. Who knew, maybe he could make a strong ally or two for the future.

If he lived....

Which as he looked around and saw no else around..... was not very promising.

The battle had taken its toll on Vyse, but he had soon recovered and was now browsing the markets of Larsa again, trying to sell his loot. The elven swords had sold well, and for quite a high price, but the rest of his inventory was apparently less appealing to potential buyers. The only thing he didn't want to sell was a cloak he had gotten from the elves. It had low defence bonuses but the evasion and speed stats were high, and its deep blue colour suited him well. After speaking to a few more merchants (none of which baught anything) he gave up and decided to head back out to the fields.

On his way he passed a group of people murmuring about a tall man in a wolf cloak leading the charge against the boss. He was sure it was the same man he had encountered last night. Vyse approached the strangers and asked where the man was headed. After a short conversation, Vyse was on his way to join the wolf man on the front lines.

Vyse was used to traveling alone, but having an companion seemed to make the long journeys seem shorter, and his thoughts turned to Yuuki. He hadn't seen her in a few days. Was she okay?

After a while, he could see a small camp in the distance. as he got closer, he noticed a single figure that stood well above the rest of the warriors. This had to be the group headed for the boss room. He picked up his pace to reach them, and as he reached the group, he called out "You look like you need some help again, Wolf-man," and flashed a big grin towards the hulk of a man.

*Wish a blue etheric flash a copper skinned man with blaze red hair appeared in Larsa. He spoke not one word after returning from the unknown. His clothes where dirty, He looked tired, sweaty but still very strong. He stood taller than anyone in view and looked to be chiseled out of fleshy colored stone. He hauled with him only two items.

First a large one handed hammer with a picked back. Surely to large to swing or carry one handed, yet he made it look as though it weighed as much as small branch. Something a kid would play with pretending it to be a sword.

Second A very ordinary knapsack colored and marked the same as his martial arts gi. The large man sat at a small stall near the floor portal while he ate and drank as he knew the floor would soon be cleared.

The next floor he thought to himself, that is when the warriors will need me. He only imagined the repairs for armor and weapons, the new crafting oreders all of the front lines would need. I will support them with my own two hands. I will not be stuck here in this world and if I must I will make a difference.
