Zwei jumped away from Keele as he focused on him. But then he heard a Howl. The wolf-man drew keeles attention, and Keele headed for him then. "That was too close for comfort" Zwei thought.
His katana were only visible when the light hit it, but it's strength were fading and if you looked real close you could even see a crack.

He noticed the crack and realized that it was time to change it out with a new one he had ordered from a sword-smith. The new one were specially tailored for him, and were weighted just right for him. The blade was still black, but where at the top where the other one was flat, this one had three large spikes flowing along the blade. The hilt was black with red diamond shapes where the ito wrap crosses. The tsuba is formed ovaly and had four "arms" that followed the shape. At the end there is a chain which is almost as long as the blade itself. The blade measured a whooping 68 inches, or 178.7 cm in length, and for it's length it was surprisingly light.

The blade was incredibly sturdy, despite it's weight, and it was way stronger than the one he currently had equipped, and it were also way more costly. It had cost nearly all his col, but he knew that it would be worth it in the long run.

He didn't use it before now, because he wanted to train his own strength before he started using it. He had hoped that he could train a bit more, but he couldn't wait any longer. The katana he had equipped now just couldn't handle the amount of abuse it had endured.

He kneeled, and opened his menu to find and equip the blade.

Black had been throwing his nails with fervour after the start of the battle but had done little to no damage. He hadn't even distracted the dog to really help anyone. He was starting to feel a little helpless. He wondered what it was, was it the range, the strength of the weapon, was he just not good enough. Despair ripped through him like a wave and almost overwhelmed him. A flurry of expressions crossed his face as he tried to fight his instinct to run, to hide and to never leave the safety of the safe spot again.

Why, why was he being so useless? It was happening again, just like that time on the road on the first level, the time when he had lost his wife.He couldn't do anything; he just was standing there watching as events happened all around him. Damn it he thought, how am I supposed to keep the promise I made. It felt so long since he had seen her, been with her. He wanted to cry out and then he saw someone, something in the corner of the room. It was his wife, standing there, yelling at him like she tended to do when he had screwed up. And then he heard her, she was saying fight. She just said the one word over and over again.

Yes, he had to fight; he had to fight for her and to get back to real world so he could bury her like he had promised. A gush of strength and courage the likes he had never felt before swept through him and he started throwing the nails like a madman. He stopped worrying about accuracy and wanted pure volume. It wouldn't do much, but it was better then standing like a fool. Damn he thought, even when she was dead his wife was a pain in the a$$.

Wolf, who was charging at the boss, stopped immediately. The boss recognized as Keele, was now heading for him as well. With the distance between them growing shorter rapidly, Wolf had begun to swing. Curse his heavy weapon. Attacking is very risky for a player such as him. Although his feet movement was equal to the average "light armored" player, his attacks took way too long, so he had to time everything right.

His hilt was wide enough for four fists to fit and during the swing he separated his hands to the out most positions for the fastest speed and the most power. Glowing the same color as a full moon, his blade began its departure. 182 cm of blade will take a while to get to his opponent but even if he swung a little early, he would still clear a lot of room incase he needed to switch out.

Using his strongest stance, feet wide, shoulders slightly downward and pointing at the enemy, he let out a grunt simultaneously with his attack. Wolf hoped for the best, but with the gap between them growing shorter, hoping wasn't going to be enough. His golden eyes met with the vicious enemy as he got closer. Without saying anything, Wolf's eyes relayed a message to the oncoming danger, "show me you're worthy of being called a 'boss'."

Keele had finally made his move, but Vyse's attention was on the second Skull Hound which was barreling towards one of his fellow swordsman crouching and scanning his menu. Vyse had to act fast. He crouched low and used «Sprint». He closed the gap between them in seconds and struck the beast hard in the ribs with the pommel of his sword. It landed off to the side of where it had initially aimed its attack.

With the two dogs taken care off the raid party could focus on keele whom finally made his move,
he charged with all this might towards wolf, he was charging but suddenly stopped
he got his weapon and begun to swing.

That has to be the heaviest weapon i've seen thus far. Nick thought to himself.
He kept his distance from the wolf man and the boss waiting to step in when necessary.

Yuuki was still watching from afar, observing everyone's movements, and decided it was time to step in once the hounds were dead. As the last one shattered into a thousand pieces, she drew her sword, closing in, prepared to strike.

As Keele charged at Wolf his arms swung backwards and his body bent low to the ground as he gained in speed. His one handed sword pointed directly away from where he was heading, as though all he was focused on was reaching the target. The motion of his hand releasing the sword would be almost miss able, were it not for the sword itself floating away from his grasp. With no momentum of its own, it swiftly began a descent towards the cold ground below...

Keele slammed his foot into the solid ground hard enough for an echo to reverberate across the chamber, rotating on the ball of his heel he extended his hands outwards to either side and then brought them back in. With the slight boost in gravity, he used his forwards momentum to spin himself like a top before he ever got into range of Wolf's ludicrously long sword. A thin trail of wisp like tendrils emerged from his hands and darted backwards to the sword he let go moments before.

Without warning the sword moved with all the speed and momentum that Keele's own rotation granted to it, with the added benefit of being held at range thanks to his strange blue leashes. The blade curled through the air at an arc that began just past Wolf and started at what had been all but empty space just moments before. As Wolf looked on, expectantly waiting to engage a boss that had stopped just moments before, he could all but only behold as Nick charged in to aid him... only to have the bosses Sword swing in at him to clip him in the side.

On the other side of the room, Vyse continued to engage the last of the bosses hounds. It was common knowledge that a boss could not be considered defeated until its minions were as well, this left a single party to deal with the last one standing. As the Skull Dog charged, it was blown off course by a body check to its side. It stumbled slightly, but failed to collapse entirely as it turned its attention towards Vyse.

"Switch!"

The words rang off the walls, yet Yuuki remained aloof of the call. The dog turned towards Vyse and snarled, exposing the fact that while any wounds may expose the grid like interior, its mouth and teeth were fully textured as as real as could be believed. As the hound prepared to strike, its side erupted in a deluge of tiny red pricks that sent the skull dogs HP plummeting. While the tiny needles did negligible damage on their own, when added to the combined assault the minion had suffered thus far had been enough to fell it completely.

<<Howl>> Wolf howled in excitement as he neared the skillful enemy who stopped instantly before him, out of harms way. Stopping his swing half way, Wolf's sword now pointed forward. His arms, which were also extended fully because of the previous swing, retracted inwards to his waist.

In chess, a smart player will have two ways to attack, upon one move. Wolf, who had experience fighting outside of the game, knew the ways of the arena. The best defense is a good offense. A continuous assault gives the opponent no room to attack. "EVERYONE AT ONCE!"

A glowing similar to the brightness and color of the full moon, Wolf's blade radiated. He thrusted forward at full speed. Even though his swings were slow, his movement wasn't. Thrusts, although much weaker than his swings, were indeed fast.

Possibly hitting his opponent, Wolf continued it off with a flip into the air screaming, "SWITCH." Upside down, he stared, golden eyes to fiery eyes. In the back of his mind, he knew no opponent could beat him. And this was not because of his strength, it was because of his intelligence; his battle smarts.

The last minion had fallen to a flurry of needle strikes, and shattered into a glittering display of virtual polygons that wafted up through the air and eventually faded away, leaving no trace of the beast they had belonged to. The battle was moving forwards, and Vyse now directed his attention to the last enemy standing, Keele, the abysmal knight.

The group was now concentrating all its energy on Keele, and Vyse was no exception. He stood just to the left of the enemy, waiting for the opportune time to strike. Wolf gave the order to attack, and with that, Vyse kicked off from the ground as hard as he could, sending him into the air above his companions. As he sailed towards his target, his sword shone a brilliant hue of blue, thrumming with ever growing energy. The blade came arcing down from above his head towards Keele.

As nick charged the boss to intercept the attack on wolf he saw too late that
it's attention had been shifted to him and was unable to dodge the attack on his side.
He felt the pressure behind the attack and was flung upwards into the air falling on his back
10 meters from the boss.

D-Damn. He said while coughing. This is not my day.

He saw his HP bar drop from yellow to red as it stopped at the 3 percent mark.

This isn't good. He thought and opened his inventory hoping to get the red crystal to heal him.

Zwei found the blade he was looking for and equipped it. The blade looked vastly more majestic than he first had thought, and the sheer length of the blade were terrifying. But Keele left him no choice in the matter, seeing as just fighting his beasts had cracked his old sword. "I hope i can fix it" Zwei thought. He wasn't nearly ready to use the new blade, as he had hoped he would be stronger.

But now was not the time to debate whether he was ready or not. He frankly had no choice in the matter.

He saw a blue light as someone yelled "Vopal Strike!" and understood fairly quickly that the attack on keele had begun. He saw that is life were just barily in the green zone but ignored it for now, as he had plenty of life left. He kept a red crystal at bay, just in case.

Zwei swung his new blade around a bit to get a feel of it, before he headed towards the right of the boss. ready for battle

Blacknite stared at the place where only moments before a beast of a dog had stood. He had did it, he had made a difference and at the same he had proved to himself that he was strong. He knew now what he had to do, he had no injuries, nothing to show for the effort that he had put into the battle. That would change.

He watched on as the main players started their attacks on the main boss. He had originally thought the mobility of the dogs would have been the biggest problem but the grace and speed that The Keele had was astonishing. He almost wanted to just stand there and watch the fight unfold, but he couldn't. The image of his wife had disappeared but he could still hear her voice echoing in his mind. Fight, fight, fight, the words reverberated in his skull like a drum going off right beside his ear. Although it was risky, he had to fight using his sword.

He opened his inventory to get out his true main weapon. He had started using throwing weapons due to the fact that so few players looked into it or specialised in it. It gave him an edge, a skill that ones were not familiar with and that could really help due to the fact that there was no bow and arrow or magic in this game. Basically being long range meant there was no counter. It was useful, but not everything in his bag of tricks. Looking for his sword he had to fight so very hard not to watch as the battle went on. They were doing astonishingly well attacking on all sides but Blacknite didn’t think it was enough. He needed to fight, they looked like they could use his help, and they would have it.

Regretting her earlier decision of not coming along, Argo hurried to the boss room hoping that she could be of some use. "I hope those guys aren't dead yet" she murmured to herself.

As Argo leaped in the room, she catches a glimpse of the party, still holding out. With a sigh of relief, she opens her menu to equip her daggers. She ran forward swiftly towards the unsuspecting Boss, with her small daggers and minimal clothing closed their distance very quickly. She dashes in with her daggers and hits the Keele with a horizontal strike.

After the wolf man rushed in, everyone had supported him by attacking as well, the enemy taking blows from all sides. But, that didn't immobolize him, and he too was landing hit after hit of the ones that dared to even clome close. It was amazing how fast and agile it was, and the boss was very skilled at using his sword. Often, Keele would attack at the ones front and center, but it still didn't make it impossible for him to attack the very back, too. Clutching the hilt of her sword, Yuuki dashed in on the right, making to time herself perfectly so that the blade was on the other side of him. She slashed horizontally, bringing all of the power she could possibly muster into the hit. Keele let out a startled groan, and pivoted towards her, striking the very tip towards Yuuki.

She backtracked as possible as she could, but realised she would not make it fast enough. She drew her sword, prepared to face the attack.
