A pic of Himiko as she stands showing sadness and fear as the virtual world becomes reality. She was selected as one of the "players" by her friends, as well as having to kill others. So far, she has only encountered other males, unsure if there are other females on the island.
Used pencil-grid method to doodle, then pen inked. Scanned and colored with Adobe Photoshop. Took about a week, but finally got it done!

My entry

Mi pic shows the insanity of kousuke kira (14) a boy who is sent to the island after killing and raping several women.
Once in the island, sick of being abused by his father, he kill him (that is why he is coved with blood).
Finally he becomes a rival to sakamoto, he is the user of the implosion BIMS (those round things on the sides of his body that suck air and then explode).

Hope you understand because i don't speak english very well.

My Drawing is based on Episode 3 when what seems to be the creator of the video game BTOOOM! is talking to the 'Players' on the cargo plane explaining that they are going to be playing a game of survival; a real life version of the BTOOOM! video game. The 7 gadgets surrounding him are some of the BIM's (Bombs) the 'Players' can use to help them win the game, each of the BIM's have different properties. Under the BTOOOM! logo I have drawn part of a parachute from when the 'players' where dropped onto the island, the BIM's that Ryōta Sakamoto starts off with, the Sonar Chips that the 'players' have to collect in order to get off of the island and a case that holds necessary provisions for a few days survival (these get dropped in at certain times during the day). I have used the Island that is the location for 'the game' as the background image for my drawing. Oh I also drew a butterfly thats landed on the case!

Well that's my submission with a detailed explanation XD I'm pretty proud of it, one of the best drawings I've done in years.

Yes I'm done YAY!!! I love this anime and can't wait to watch for the next episode!

In this picture I wanted to portray fear, yet determination. These two both fear the fact of killing, but are both determined to get off this island alive. I tried to make sure I have most of the important qualities of this "game", such as the bombs, the radar, and the fact that they are stuck on an island. This picture illustrates both running away for their life with an explosion behind them.

this is the one I am going to enter as final.. It has no special time period just that this is the situation he as the main character finds himself in. Bombs are always directed at him.

My cover is about Episode 3: Ryouta saw three parachute with the case fall down and know that there's food is in there. When he reaches at one case, a woman got it first and got exploded by Oda's bomb, the guy in glasses, (bomb he use next to him). Ryouta was frightened that what if he got it first and fell for his trap. Oda took her radar and left with the case. But Ryouta was determined to get the other parachute. After that, Ryouta went to the other parachute with Taiga and checked if anyone was there. One person was running away from the parachute with the case. When Ryouta reaches to the other parachute, he saw a kid, ( Kousuke Kira), that has blood on him and is standing next to a half dead body and a tree with a giant hole in it *this was at the very end of episode 3*.

This is from ep 3 where Sakamoto climbs up to see a plane dropping off suitcases.
The background has some green lines that are meant to symbolize that its a game. The reason why i did this was because he was just told that this is actually a game and he now sees the island in that way. I have also made some smoke and fire to show the people fighting over the briefcases.
Took me 2 days.

does she need to do that same pose for every contest? people don't want bitemarks in their prizes. also way to bend the spine on that manga! show some respect to those who collect.

Okay this is my entry! I drew Himiko.... I did my best to replicate the 2nd ep with her scared face.. for my background..i did a lightning bolt because you know how you feel this shock feeling after being scared or for some other reason that really caught your attention...I did that to show her first witnessing her first murder. For the blood text...Was to show how grusome BTOOOM is lol... as for the glowing eyes... that was to idicate "what did i just see?" type of feeling... and for the dark shadowing... its suppose to show her feelings of being alone.



I wanted to illistrate her fear of first witnessing a murder in episode 2. I think this is what makes her first impression of all men...that they are all "scum." This point is the most scariest moment in her life because she is stuck with a murderer and another guy who seems nice but is actually a pervert. Later on she strives to survive and is determined to show no fear.

Here is my entry. I created it myself in 3D. I hope that counts as a drawing. If not it was still fun to do.
This scene is a cut scene from the opening of BTOOOM!. It was cut because it's a spoiler of a new mode found later in the series that puts the bomb in it's most powerful mode. Crunchyroll mode. In crunchyroll mode the bomb will fill all hearts with joy and unit them against a common evil.

EDIT: nvm, sister told me scanners broken so i cant scan and touch up, this is best I can do with an iPhone, sorry if quality sucks



Well, my cover is supposed to represent the first fight between two BTOOOM! players (as far as I know), ryota sakamoto and kira kosuke. I drew sakamoto in the foreground with his chin up an a grin to show how relaxed and confident he is because in that battle sakamoto treats it like a BTOOOM "match" and relies on his in-game skills and experience to defeat Kira. I have their in-game characters fighting behind them respectively because again he believed it was a game and not reality. Anyway, hope it makes sense and yes that is blood on his face if ur wondering.
