wow cool ^_^ I play the piano but I don't read every note too. I have an aptitude in music especially on piano. And i sometimes play by ear

if u get a score that looks too hard to play at 1st, just try playing right and left hands separately before you play them together.

The art of having both hand-eye co-ordination is to keep both hands timing constant.

and if all else fails, bring in an EVEN HARDER score and try to play it the same way. when you go back to the original score, you'll suddenly be able to play.

i tried it for Yōen Naru Kizuna no Hibiki vs Santa Claus no Sora. both scores having millions of additional #'s and b's

i still can't play santa claus no sora, but at least Yōen is fine.

and people, just reading forums ain't gonna help much. lift the piano lid and start 'stroking' keys.

oooooooo... I'd say I'm decent at playing piano but my worst weakness are rhythms such as 4 against threes 7 against 11 or some crap like that...ugh... but no worries theres a formula:
Example: 4/4 time last beat left hand has a triplet and the right hand has 4 sixteenth notes.

Take the lowest common factor of 4 (16th notes) and 3 (triplets): 12
Start with left hand with triplets, starting from one count like you usually would to 12, clap if it helps
1 ,2,3, 4 ,5,6 7 ,8,9 10 11,12

Right hand sixteenth notes, count like you would normally
12,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12

Then group them
1 ,2,3, 4,5 ,6 7 ,8,9,10 11,12

Then go practice the part slowly while you count evenly to 12. Each note that is being played (no matter left or right hand) it should land exactly on the bold numbers.

Its hard to explain cyberly but this is the best I can do.

yes you do have to read every note... what's the sense of studying classical music if you're not following the notes.... anyway you can leave some notes if you really can't play it, though
