I love that song!! Debussy is not easy and I don't think there is a way around it besides having good, solid technique. I am going to learn it after I finish clair de lune! =D

Hot damn, I have to grades or technique. My only technique is copy-catting. When I see someone do it for me then I'll get it with due time.

for people that have never stuck to one instrument for long because they get bored with it, go online and look for sheet music of the songs you like it 's fun!

a good tip is not eat with your hands before you play the piano. leaves the keys really sticky

Never try to have sex with a piano teacher.
Seriously.
All the porn that I've seen that involves piano teachers are horrible.
I can't tell if their wrinkly old faces are male or female.

i basically learned to play through self-study using a cheap crappy keyboard and it was only after 3 months of self-study that i got to play on a real piano...[now its been around 10 months since I started]

as for tips, here are some [which i did but may not be applicable to some or maybe even everyone im not sure:

1 find an inspiration [mine was and still is Jay Chou]
2 find a song that you want to be able to play and set your mind into it
3 listen to a hell lot of music [and repeat them if necessary] you will gradually realize things on your own
4 practice a lot although trying to stop for sometime and then practicing again can yield some good results [spaced recognition system-related]
5 you MUST <3<3<3<3 the piano and music and make sure that no one is forcing you to
6 instead of just randomly striking those keys when you are studying things like chords try to compose your own songs and finger exercises
