Videos won't play at all~!
|
Hi there!
I've only joined a few weeks ago, so I'm fairly new. My problem now is that most of the videos that I click will not play at all, no matter how much I spam the refresh button. This problem started yesterday morning. I miss my animes! Any clue as to how I can resolve this? Thanks! |

Same problem, same region.

That's annoying. I guess there is nothing that we can actually do I guess

I did all the suggested fixes, like reinstalling flash, making sure everything was up to date etc. Nothing.

Hopefully just a temporary glitch with one of our links. Same problem here, same country.

Exactly the same here, I have tried everything!
EDIT: Changing DNS worked... but the stream was terrible. |

I installed google chrome, and the problem went away. I think its probably a firefox addon that is causing the problem.

Is everyone else using Firefox then?
If so, you could all try doing 2 things, 1 being to disable all addons, as FF AO's tend to conflict with eachother sometimes. The other one being to switch to a different browser. I'm unsure how it's all Australians with this problem though, potentially some form of glitch with a popular aus AO? O_o |

O_o To be fair at first I ruled out an addon problem with Firefox because I started the browser in safemode without addons loaded and the problem persisted. Keep in mind this is after following all the official steps on the Crunchroll site for potentially fixing the problem. The only reason I tried another browser was because a friend linked me to a video hosting/streaming website for some kind of funny clip of someone doing a back flip and hurting someone else and I noticed I had the same problem there as on Cruchyroll. So that kinda eliminated the problem being on Crunchyrolls end and I started to troubleshoot again, first thing I did was try another browser and that fixed it. Hardly ideal, but Firefox had been giving me grief lately with slow downs and freezes on start up, so I thought it might be possible that the browser was somehow to blame. I might try a fresh install of Firefox and see if that fixes the problem. Update: Uninstalling Firefox and doing a fresh install without any addons installed resulted in the problem persisting. A black empty box that never loads. Chrome loads the videos fine. Mystery continues. |

I'm using Firefox (with add-ons including NoScript), and have no problem, but I am in the United States. This sounds a bit like the problem Funimation's site had with not showing videos in Firefox, but it wasn't a region-specific problem (which this apparently is), and was apparently related to some common add-ons, related to the Do Not Track feature they implemented. |

I know that there are some issues with the newest version of Firefox and the newest version of Flash.
However I'm not sure why this is only just now affecting users in Australia only. If folks are still having this issue let me know. I want to know if it was just a temporary burp. |

Catching up. Please be patient.
