Video games can be turned off or muted.

....Just kidding of course. I just had to say that. I honestly have no idea since I would never put a video game first.

I don't set game > girls. Like, ever. But the problem for most guys is not knowing what to do, and someone don't even bother. I know many girls who'd rather stay in a game all night than come to a party or hang out with people. And forming something meaningful with someone is a lot harder than logging into a system and creating a character...Takes time and effort form both people to form something meaningful. So if both ain't in on it, it ain't gonna work. But thanks for calling me socially incapable of forming something meaningful with a real girl.

I don't know.

For me, I've never been into socialising. If I am with a group of people, I expect to be doing competitive sports, fun board games or doing some sort of activity.

I don't like talking and conversation.

Online gaming is very convenient for me. It allows me to be in touch with a group of people while doing a fun activity. Just because it's online doesn't mean it's not real.

I didn't say you were , I said are they? Like as in it's a question.. I know a guy who is totally animated playing a video game and then get him in a real room, (with a real life girl there in front of him) not in a video room and he is clammed up and has absolutely nothing to say. Even starting a conversation with him is like pulling teeth. I mean, I don't mind talking for a little bit about the particular video games he is playing for a little while, but to have that be the entire discussion? UGH.

Is that the only time you have come across it or do you know a lot of guys like that? There are anxiety issues that could make a person like that. It might not be that they are incapable of forming anything meaningful it could just be an issue of finding it difficult to actually talk to someone face to face.

Then it's just the guy being insecure, it doesn't mean he ain't capable of forming something meaningful with a girl. Have a lot of friends that are that way. But the issue is usually fixed when getting them drunk because they are so shy..I'd recommend you get the lad a little push and some beer, just to get him more secure about the conversation and getting used to the talking with a girl part. Guys are especially shy around the girl they like, was like that myself before So, a little push, some beer and you leading the conversation should get him more into the whole talking with a girl part

LOL..ok getting him drunk is the solution , loosen him up...fling myself on him ..let him feel some real woman's lips..and then once that's over..back to the video games he goes.. sounds like a plan..NOT.

That's not what i said, i said getting him drunk helps him loosen up. Never told you to fling right at him like a bitch in heat. The getting him drunk or tipsy part is just a gateway for getting him used to talking with girls.

Probably his problem, like my own, is he has nothing in common with you or the other girl. Talk about the video game you said he plays, duh. I abhor talking about other people like females seem to be so fond of.

He is in his early 20's, plus he drinks a lot of soda, to stay up all night to play games!
