Luckily I live by the ocean, so plan A would be to wait at least a day or two for things to settle down outside. Next I'd set out to find myself a boat which I would use to find an island which happens to be inhabited by a lot of beautiful females looking for a manly man to take care of them. At which point they'd write me off and make me find my own island. Damn them.

I'd probably get the BEST giant RV I can find and have some fun driving on the streets, breaking a few traffic laws, and running over zombies just for the heck of it. There's nothing like a night drive in the city when the world is ending!
And when I eventually run out of oil, I guess I'll be dead meat. Oh well, I didn't plan that out well.

Simple matter as i already own a bow and am a proficient hunter and can live off land. Key ability to zombie survial is to keep quite and keep moving, You can't out siege the undead, As for mellee weapons I do have a bastard sword much better to use than a Katana. but would still use a heavy footmans mace to bash skulls in. A katana is one of the worst weapons to have in this case. It only has a single cutting edge that requires constant care and if you hit it wrong you can snap the blade. So if i didnt have a mace i would use my bastard sword which causes damage by it's weight impact

I like stuff like this. First things first: Escape the horde. Find somewhere with low population density. That's the easy part. Then comes pushing myself to be self-sufficient after a lifetime of convenience and complacency. Securing shelter would be priority number one, then food. Weapons I can pick up along the way (hey crowbar works without ammo :O ), but of course I'd have some basic stuff in my bug-out bag already ready already d00d, such as a first aid kit, a weeks worth of military rations (fine dining), extra clothes, toiletries, stuff with which to make fire, etc. I'd need a shovel to dig pits. Seeds are very important to bring along, for obvious reasons. I'd hit a few hardware stores on my way out of town, for anything else I couldn't get together while I was fleeing the epicenter in pants-shi**ing terror. After everything calms down a little I'd try to find other people to share the rest of my days with. Or just a dog. Man's best friend and all that.

I doubt its so easy to survive a zombie apocalypse. Simply i would be pissing my pants off, imagine you in y room all dark and then a zombie comes inside, i would panic so much that i couldt move to even save myself and get my gun.
