TBH, I've never seen anyone fangirl for him. I've only seen haters. So I guess I don't get it either.
People just need a punching bag. A place to direct their inner evil and hatred. Because you can't do it to minority groups anymore. So now we do it to pop stars. As the Japanese saying goes: "the nail that sticks out gets hammered."
I've got better things to do than disseminate more hatred. Celebrities aren't worth my time and attention anyways. *sniff*

I don't hate Bieber but it does annoy me how so many girls think he is as good as his songs say people should be. Somebody with that much money and so many fans can't possibly be all good or as good as he is portrayed, he's probably just another rich kid who doesn't do much to help others less fortunate than him, yet still many girls see him as some amazing guy who actually "cares".

Because his lyrics are un-inspired pieces of garbage (as well as most musicians). Compare some of his lyrics with the likes of Pink Floyd or Tool or even Tupac, and you can see the difference in what makes music an art form.
I also dislike that he acts as though he had a tough life. The kid might not have been rich but he was pampered and is now spoiled rotten (tell me you haven't seen his car).

Because he is a robot.
Manufactured by the music industry... his music is formulated in the same way that they do for many other pop singers such as Ke$ha, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears etc.
He has no creativity, no originality.
He's a robot being used to exploit his fans... I mean, a nail polish line... seriously?
In other words, I dislike his sheep-ish approach to music... he has no individuality and creativity... he tries to act gangster-ish in interviews. It's annoying.

His appearance and voice have changed over the years for the better, thankfully. But by no means am I fan or a Belieber, as they call themselves. His music just isn't for me but for certain people out there, they enjoy his music - this is the same with any artist. Hate is never a good thing no matter who it is directed at, the person it is affecting and hurting the most is the person who is doing the hating.

It's the troll meme I hate. I know it's bad for your health to read youtube comments, but got dang it.
I don't consider him any different than any other child star to pop idol in the industry. Though, I think he could look super cute in drag with that face of his, and his singing voice was passable as female when I first heard one of his songs. Definitely a missed trap opportunity.
