Angel Sanctuary. I know there's a three episode thing, but I want the entire series. Is that so much to ask? Also, Neon Genesis Evangelion: Angelic Days (It's not like they'd have to look high and low for voice actors)

There are three that I can think of, though I'm sure more will come to mind later.
1. Boys Next Door. It was really short - only one volume - so I'm sure it would be better suited as an OVA or a short movie rather than an actual series. I know how the title sounds, but it's really not like that at all. It was an excellent dark, psychological story and it's a shame it was so short. I highly recommend the manga.
2. Homunculus. I first came across this manga through a Monster community on livejournal. Someone had mentioned that fans of Monster would like Homunculus, so I decided to try it out. Granted, I only have read the first two volumes so far, but it's an excellent story. There are quite a few volumes, so this could turn into a pretty long series. It falls into the psychological/horror category.
3. My Balls. Just because it's insane and pretty hilarious. This is a fairly new manga, as there are currently only two chapters. The plot is so ridiculous but that's what makes it so entertaining.

I vote for +anima... It's already completed, and it's a little old (it started in 2001 and ended in 2005), but I love it. It's the cutest manga the ever had no plot, but still entertained me and made me search the deepest depths of the internet to find more. BUT IT'S SO CUTE! Cooro is just adorable. It's be perfect for anime!
Another I would say is World Embryo. It's still fairly new, but it's by the same person as Chrno Crusade. It's got a pretty interesting plot and I always really liked the art. The main character's pretty unusual, too. I've only read about the first volume or so, though. It was scanlated by Maximum7, but then it got lisenced. If it gets stached up that fast it's gotta be good, right?

know what you mean. i wish BLAME! could be remade b/c i love the manga but those five minute anime shorts sucked and didn't make any sense whatsoever. same with Petshop of Horrors. four episodes just doesn't give it justice

I wish that they could make a Hana-Kimi anime!! Also, I think it'd be fun to watch Happy Hustle High. ^.^ If I had written this post yesterday, I would have said Wallflower, but I just found out that they do have a Wallflower anime out now! Yay! I hope it's as good as the manga.

Although I've had it for a while, I never bothered reading REAL until last night. I honestly cannot fathom how I managed to ignore it for so long. It's wonderful. I'm actually extremely surprised that I liked it so much, since it's a sports manga & I absolutely hate sports.
I can definitely see it as an anime.

No one probably knows this one, but Yotsuba&! or the alternative title, Yotsubato. It's really funny and cute, and its the same author as Azumanga Daioh... I think. |
