Dr. Dieter Kunz, a renowned sleep researcher believes as does the majority of the scientific community, that late sleepers are predisposed to their behavior via DNA and that their circadian rhythms are typically set to a deep sleep pattern between 3 a.m. to 11 a.m. thus making them evening people. Have you ever wondered why you constantly feel jet lagged going to school or work? Take heart your in good company Albert Einstein, Pavarotti, and Marilyn Monroe were all late sleepers. As for the early risers the rest of us will just have to envy you. Non-sleepers well we'll be seeing your names in the news in the future(joking). I'm in the latter group as well.

I get tired during the hours of 7-10 pm, and I've noticed myself waking up from 12-6 am depending on when I fall asleep and luck. currently, I have been regularly waking up at 3-4 am for two to three years now. I can't stay up late (11pm-3am) anymore these days, and most people I know are late risers, which is a bit frustrating when friends stay over for the night as the sleep schedules tended to conflict.

Early riser here. always have been. No matter what time I go to sleep, I'm up and wide awake 4-5 hours later. If I try to sleep longer I just end up tossing and turning a lot. Those 4 or 5 hours I do sleep though Im dead to the world and nothing wakes me up.

It varies for me. These days I'm a late sleeper because my sleep pattern is way off. ^_^

It's healthy to know that others have bizarre sleep patterns also. The report I viewed specified one large company over in Germany that was breaking with tradition and letting everyone work on flex schedules, needless to say this didn't last long because of the low number of employees coming in early left the business too understaffed to function successfully. Like no one to answer phones before noon.

I go to sleep early, like at 22:00, but school starts too early!
I have to wake up at 6:00, but I usually drag it to 6:45

Have to be honest the anime and internet are the primary reason I only get an hour or two of sleep/day. Guess there's plenty of time to sleep later...but laughing right along w/you.

I'm nocturnal.
Always have been.

But I can go for days without sleeping, it happens every once in while. I don't recommend it, but the sleep you get after those days is amazing.

I think I'm both. When I was a teenager, I was a late sleeper (aren't we all?), though I think I'm an early riser by nature. With tv to distract me, I stay up too late most of the time. With a husband that works nights, I don't know whether I'm asleep or awake most of the time.

I actually get a second wind some time in the evening and am a night owl; I also like to work on my artwork and creative activities in the morning, i.e. when the light is good and my subconscious is still active. I guess I fit into the "don't sleep" category.
