Boganis: Yep: that's the category I fit into: bizarre sleep patterns. Electricity, then electronics have caused that. With the internet, everything's available all the time, so we're not sleeping. I love to sleep though: I have very active dreams.

I'm a total night owl, which is a problem when working a day job.

My body clock always wakes me up at 6:30 and the smell of coffee.

Always have been.

But I can go for days without sleeping, it happens every once in while. I don't recommend it, but the sleep you get after those days is amazing.

I'm right there with you. I'll go for periods that are just freakish. But you're right when you finally sleep, man its like death, your so exhausted you don't move a muscle (do you sleep 24-48 hours straight?) and you wake up and with the endorphins, dopamines, and serotonins popping better than drugs ever could.

Both I guess?

I used to be an early riser, then a late sleeper and then I realized it just depends on what schedule I get on. I'm tired no matter what so it doesn't matter.

I'm a late sleeper and an early riser. I can go sleep at 3 a.m. and wake up by 9 or 10 a.m.

My sleep schedule is subject to my school schedule, of course. But my natural tendency is to sleep late. Ideally, go to sleep around 3 or 5 am, and wake around noon. I feel most comfortable when everyone around me is sleeping, so I like it when mine and everyone else's time doesn't overlap.

And when I have to regularly get up early, I tend to have a lot more stomach problems when I rise late. Not sure why, just works out that way.

Yes, your right it is much more comfortable to focus on projects or even pastimes when you don't have someone or something invading you privacy. Unfortunately tech doesn't make it any easier.

I went with late sleeper, though.
