No, only stereo, however I wouldn't say no one cares about 5.1 it be a nice luxury to have especially on apps from hdmi sources like PS3 or Roku.

The Crunchyroll app for PS3 supports Dolby Digital if you use optical audio or HDMI audio output.

It is Dolby Digital, but still only stereo.

Another user asked if Crunchyroll could change it to PCM so that people with Pro Logic speakers can enjoy at least some "fake" surround sound. I agree, as it would give a much greater experience because currently voices only come out of the left and right channels, instead of the center channel.

As it is now, you have to change your PS3 audio settings whenever you want to use the CR APP and have it disable the DD pass through so that the PS3 converts the sound to PCM so that you can then use the built in Pro Logic decoder on your receiver or speakers. When you are done with the CR APP, you have to remember to turn DD pass through back on so that you get surround sound while watching movies or playing games. It gets kind of annoying.
