I remember this show fondly. Came very close to the spirit of anime, with a very western twist added.

Remember these? - Courage the Cowardly God - Dexter's Laboratory - Teen Titans - Johnny Bravo - The Powerpuff Girls - Ed, Edd, n' Eddy - Cow and Chicken - Samurai Jack (Not to mention the old Nickelodeon cartoons, Disney cartoons and the classic cartoons from way back)! Totally Spies was fun! I always liked the yellow one the best haha. Now that I'm looking at them, their colors remind me of The Powerpuff Girls! Now it's pretty much crap (like everything else), though you do get the occasional good show. Samurai Jack ended far too quickly. I regard it as one of the most amazing cartoons I ever have had the joy of watching. I still watch Cartoon Network to this date, so I've seen just about every cartoon on it since at least 1995. The channel has had its ups and downs, but there's always something there, at least for me. Too bad Power Puff Girls Z didn't take off, I did really enjoy the Japanese take on the series. I know some may take it as an insult to such a great cartoon with the various changes they made, but I liked how it worked. |

I remember this show. This and Martin Mystery had plenty of references to fetishes littered in several episodes if I remember.
I remember it being pretty bland to okay like most of the stuff we remember from our childhoods, and I had my fun trying to find the fetishes in each episode when I did watch it. They actually have a guide online somewhere that points them all out if you can find it. |

I agree with Samurai Jack; it almost felt like the producers got bored of the show and said "f*ck you all" to the viewers. I heard Adventure Time is really good but I haven't had the chance to watch it. I absolutely loathe PowerPuff Girls Z...PPG was adorable and a funny and brilliant parody, but Z was just a poorly made magical-girl anime in my opinion. Though the henshin/transformation sequences were fun I'll give it that. |

This reallly brings me back. I was in.... second/third grade when the show first aired. Haven't seen it in years, but love it to this day. Three years ago, actually, I tried catching up on old episodes, even waited for the movie to be posted on YT.
Ah, the nostalgia ;__; |

Though the henshin/transformation sequences were fun I'll give it that. Adventure Time is good, but for different reasons which you may or may not enjoy. I disagree that Z was poorly made, granted there were a few qwerks here and there, but most of the changes I think were fine. I think many people were just too disappointed it wasn't a Japanified version of the original, which, while I would have enjoyed, I'm glad they decided not to do. However, my only gripe is that the peril present didn't exactly convey itself well and I think a higher sense of real danger as in the original would have been more welcome. |
