Ichigo was using a quincy or moresay:Steinreiter(if I spelled that right), guarding skill. The guy Ichigo escaped from was using it.It makes his skin glow with designing textures and I think wherever the marks are,make the incoming attack invulnerable to damage of any sort.

It's the fact that he has quincy and shinigami blood running through his veins i guess, thats all easy to understand and it explains a lot. What I don't understand is, if his mother is a quincy, why didn't she kill grand fisher when he attacked her and ichigo?

Ever since that LOYD n ROYD fiasco of his, I can't help but see Bleach as a comedy manga now. I used to love bleach too, but this arc just completely ruined it for me.

When I heard that the first thing I thought was "Did Ishida's character have a point?" Apparently not. It WAS an interesting dynamic, two opposing sides fighting alongside each other. But with Ichigo being Quincy it's just cheapened everything. Unless, somehow, Ishida, or Chad are somehow part Shinigami...Kubo has done nothing but given us a cheap cop-out to an overdrawn series.

I always kinda thought that Ichigo's mother had to be a Quincy or a Shinigami. So I think its pretty safe to assume that she is a quincy. What a Plot Twist! Love It!! Now the only think that is left is how to get the other Vandenreich soldiers to retreat and leave the soul society. Ichigo right now doesn't seem quite able to fight since fight with Juha and his sword was broken into two pieces, so maybe either Kisuke Urahara gonna help out or Ichigo is gonna go on a rampage with his powers, or they could leave on there own. Either way can't wait till next chapter were we see what the Gotei 13 will do about their enemies!!! (Or if the Zero Squad will show up? Maybe not!)  |

Well funny idea is that Ishida and Ichigo are cousins and thats because Ichigos dad married the sister of ishidas dad and thus the two getting along is all because of that and also it would show that she wasnt powerful enough to beat the grandfisher like even a seated shinigami couldn't, but then again its still a "what are you going to tell us next that the 0 squad is a bunch of steampunk dressed dudes that are all fullbringers and vissards"
