Zuloo finished the repairs he was working on now that the ale was all gone and the repairs all finished he knew it was time to get to work. He stood up gathered his things and headed to the combat area. He didn't wear armor but he was a sturdy guy and always kept an assortment of crystals on himself.

Zuloo opened up the scroll he had purchased and looked for the exotic mineral deposits and noted the where on the far size of the zone. He then set out to mine all the ore in the most dense location. It seems he would have to cross a lake, cut through a jungle all to get to a cliff face that was an old archaeology dig site. With his hammer in one hand he set out in a casual walk. He noticed that as he approached the lake two figures stood at the waters edge.

As the two approached the waters edge, Vyse removed his boots and cloak. The water would make them heavy, and hinder his movements more than the water itself. Wolf did much the same, except he donned bearskin armour -Lighter than his original, but still robust- before stepping to the side.

"Shall we?" asked Wolf, motioning to Vyse to proceed. He stepped forward and into the water, His movements sending ripples out across its glassy surface. Wolf followed and soon the pair were waist deep in the cool water. Vyse was weary of the shadows cast by rocks and schools of fish as he moved forward. The water contained many predators, but none made themselves known to him. Shadows moved quickly along the bottom of the river, all to quick for Vyse to be sure they really existed, or if he had imagined them.

"I have a feeling we're being watched.." said Vyse calmly as another school of fish swam past his legs. He pt his hand on the hilt of his sword, ready to draw at a moments notice.

Vyse finally noticed the other player close by. Wolf's <<detection>> ability sensed him a little earlier though; he still needed to train it. At this point and time, Wolf was only equipped with his sword, breast plate, and casual pants. He was holding his sword straight up with both hands as if performing a ritual.

"How far have we gone?" Wolf's eyes have been closed the entire time. He was only focusing on his <<detection>> to keep a track on the far player as well as Vyse's location along with any upcoming monster attacks.

Zuloo noticed by the time he had reached the waters edge the other two where moving quite quick through the calm reflective water. The water seemed to come up to the smaller ones waist and to the larger ones knees. Zuloo decided it would be better to cross with them than to go it alone so he scrolled his menu and pulled out some muddy fisherman waders and equipped them. Zuloo had mined in all kinds of exotic areas before and was no stranger to getting wet or dirty.

As the tall man stepped into the water and proceeded down what he thought was the most common point to cross since he saw others doing so he noticed the others stopping for a moment to recognize him behind them. [Why did they have to see me now?] he thought. Zuloo had only bought the waders when there where few left. And it seemed fisherman where a bit quirky with their fashion. The large man raised his hand behind his head in an embarrassing fashion. Here he was tall and masculine wearing fishing waders with little rubber ducks with bow ties all over it. He put on an embarrassing smile and proceeded to wade through the water.

Wolf waded behind Vyse, His big strides sending small waves out around them.
"We're about half way," Vyse replied, "But the shallows seem to go all the way across."
The monsters of the lake had left them alone for the most part, and that worried Vyse. Something made him feel uneasy about the whole situation, but he could not tell what it was. He asked Wolf if he could feel it too, and he confirmed.

The water was now at its deepest, and Vyse walked with his sword held in both hands above his head, his neck dipping in the water with every step he took. As he moved forward, he felt something pass his leg, and he froze. Wolf stopped a few paces behind him, wondering what had happened. Without an explanation, he drew his sword, waiting for any sign of movement. When he was sure there was nothing lurking below the waters surface, he turned to Wolf. Behind him was a man, about to walk into the water behind them. His pants were patterned, but Vyse could not tell what with. He smiled, embarrassed, before strolling into the cool water.

"Vyse wait," Wolf said opening his eyes, revealing its golden hue. He quickly looked from left to right but quickly noticed the monster on his radar was directly under.

The piranhas beneath their feet dispersed. The top of their scales looked to be exactly like the pebbles they were walking on a second ago. Wolf was quick to un-equip his giant sword, bear skin breast plate, as well as his casual pants leaving him only in his boxers, which revealed wolf face patterns all over it.

"Don't mind the details," Wolf said. "Hop onto my back and defend us."

The situation didn't allow for hesitation, but Vyse could not help but laugh. Still giggling he hopped up onto Wolf's shoulders, Sword drawn, and the two began moving through the water. Piranhas were leaping out of the water, and Vyse swatted them like flies. Wolf was now running through the water as fast as he could. His speed was incredible, but the fish below were faster. More and more fish swarmed, and Vyse batted them away one after the other. They had to reach the other side of the river soon, or they would die here.

As wolf pushed forward, the water became shallower as they reached a spot in the middle that was only ankle deep. Vyse jumped off his companions back. The attack had stopped, but Vyse was still uneasy. As if in response to his emotions, the ground below started to rumble as a fin protruded out of the waters surface in the center of the lake. As it got closer, the fin got bigger, and slowly, the monster emerged from the water.

"You may want to put your clothes back on, Wolf.."

Zullo saw the commotion and what looked like a Father giving a son a piggy back ride. But then he noticed they where under attack by small jumping fish. Not knowing the full situation and oblivious to the large fin in the center of the lake. Zuloo put his butt in gear running as fast as he could in his little rubber duckie waders.

"I thought this was the safe and easy shallow part to cross?" he shouted with a hardy booming voice as he attempted to catch up. He looked a bit like a cartoon character the way he was running trying to move quickly through the water.

"Where's the coin slot for this ride?" Wolf began as the ground below him started to move. Equipping his casual pants, breast plate, and giant sword back on, he readied himself for battle. But he wasn't sure if they would make it to the other side as easy as he had hoped.

Wolf gripped the tightly wrapped hilt of his blade as the water danced around them. Wolf's golden eyes scanned the area. Was their next destination going to be their final destination?

Any hope that he was not spotted was dashed when they started heading towards him. One even taking out his weapon. Seeing the group everyone in the bar quieted down wanting to see what was going to happen. Not liking the attention Blacknife stayed in his booth, tring to look calm meanwhile having a small panic attack. These men were the ones responsable for his wife's death, they were the ones to blame for her dieing in the wilderness like some prey. They may have not killed her directly, but they had taken all of her equipment and potions and had left her in the combat zone with nothing but her underwear as they watched her try and defend herself until at last the animals had killed her. Laughing the entire time and forcing him to watch unable to defend her. A burning rage came out of no where and it took all his energy to maintain his calm. Slowly, as not to arrouse the anger of the four men. He started walking for the door, hoping they would just let him pass.

They didn't. They blocked his way and just stared at him. No one said anything, they didn't have to. Seeing there was going to be a long stand off Blacknife decided he wasn't going to let them have their way. "Let me get to the combat area, there you can try and do what you want to do." Then using some of his speed, not all of it to give them a mark on it he dashed past them and through the open door. He started running towards the combat area at a pace to keep him ahead of the pursuers he could hear behind him, trying to conserve his energy for the fight that he knew was coming. Heading towards the combat area he started hoping that he would run into somebody, anybody that could help him out. These were skilled players, and although he felt he was good, he couldn't take on all four of them at once. He had heard in the bar of two beasts heading towards the lake and rumours that one of them looked like a wolf on his back legs. That was where he was heading in hopes of a little help. For some reason an image of the beast in one of the swan boats he rented out at his cabin back in real life poped into his mind and he started chuckling. Man he would have to buy the guy a beer if he ever found him, and so he ran.

"Whoa!" Wolf said as the Lochness proved itself real. A piranha the size of a dinosaur began to make its way towards the running man. Wolf had yet to equip his boots. The surface of the sea creature was scaly and rough so Wolf made plans to step lightly. But once the beast set in motion he nearly slipped off, grabbing the back fin.

Water was splashing everywhere and Wolf wasn't able to see a thing. Instead, he relied on his <<detection>> to get a sense of where everyone is.

"Vyse is still on top. We are right next to Zuloo. And five more people came closing in from the direction of town." Wolf thought to himself. He didn't like the feeling he was getting from this. One of the players was separated from the rest and they all were moving at a rapid rate. Wolf knew what was going on. It didn't take a rocket scientist or a virtual reality game maker to realize what was going on here.

Wolf let go of the fin and used the momentum to bring him back to shore, back to where they had started. Wolf saw the shadow of a person running towards him. His golden eyes gave away his position but he quickly went into <<hide>> mode and jumped into the tree.

He watched as the giant piranha continued to go wild and swim aimlessly. And he also watched as the four more figures came into view.

He was running and was starting to get tired, they had chased him none stop. They had gotten pretty close and a couple times they had gotten so close he could hear them laughing. They were enjoying themselves, and there was nothing he could do. They were green so if he attacked he would turn orange and would not be able to go into a safe spot for days. He wasn't equipped for that and didn't feel like he could handle it right now. He had no idea where anyone was but he heard water and so he was hoping he was getting close. Having passed a couple lower level players and seeing them only look on he had lost a lot of his hope. He needed to make them yellow, needed to warn others about these people. Oh hell he thought "what the hell". As a couple of the pursuers got close and pretended to swing at him he stopped unexpectedly so they would hit him.

Not knowing what was happening they hit am and all the sudden two of them turned yellow. Yes he thought, at least he had done something. Already his «Battle Healing» was helping and as long as he stayed away from them for a bit it would heal him fully. No sooner had the thought gone through his head when he arrived at the beach of a large lake. The thoughts of crossing quickly crushed upon seeing a very, very large fish. He turned around and seeing the four of them in a semi circle around him readying weapons, he prepared to fight, and die.

"so you decided to die" said one, "just like your wife."

"my wife fought bravely, and so shall I" blacknife said back. "You may kill me but others will complete this game".

"They can try" said another. " My name is terra, but my friends call me coffin. Three gueses as to why."

" I will pass" replied Blacknife, and knowing that he was only delaying the inevatable, he attacked. If he was going to die, Coffin was too.

Despite being the first person to enter the new floor while the combatants of the boss fight were gathering strength, he wasn't the one who arrived at town to unlock it, nor had him or his wolf been seen in the many hours since the new floor was officially unlocked for everyone to teleport to <<Parma>>. Instead he had headed straight into the wilderness to train with his companion, a Dark Grey Wolf that could be found on occasion back on the second floor. There was talk of a few players managing to tame beasts, most likely beta players who knew a trick or two on how to.

He had been avoiding most of the larger bodies of water, simply because fighting in them was not ideal. Instead resolved to fight along the sides of the smaller rivers, streams, keeping himself in the deeper forests fighting some of the tougher animals and getting a better feel on how his companion could fight. They made for a wonderful pair however, between Ravus's speed and the Wolf's ability to taunt the enemies they slew many of the wild life with relatively little damaged suffered. However little adds up over time and as his healing items started to fall low in number he figured it would be a good time to call it a night, all he had to do was figure out where he was and how to get to town, after all while teleporting may be easier it wouldn't yield any extra experience or necessary loot.

Ravus became a bit lax in training his <<detection>> since the acquiring of the Wolf, simply because the Wolves sense of smell seemed to be much greater than his ability to detect at the time giving the pair a decent warning towards any threats. After a bit of wandering he eventually broke out on a path, it was a bit rough but it gave him an immediate idea of where he was. He was close enough to see a few buildings on the horizon, "Well lets go get a place to sleep for the night." He didn't like spending time in the towns.

The reason why became fairly obvious as he got closer to the town and entered the safety zone, many people seemed to give him, still in his Navy Blue cloak and dark green leather pants and chest pieces, and his pet a wide berth. Despite it being a safe zone and no chance of being attacked, it was still rare to see a beast like the wolf inside the town. Especially since a lot of the people here were more for the celebrations on unlocking a new floor rather than being front-liners themselves. After spending a while to restock his supplies he found a tavern that would work as a resting place, upon entering he took a seat at the bar with his wolf resting immediately behind him, standing alert and occasionally growling at a player who got a bit too close.

"Knock it off already" Ravus spoke softly to the wolf as he reached back and flicked one of the wolves ears before ordering something that sounded like some form of meat for the both of them as well as a drink. Scrolling through his inventory while he waited for the food and drink to be delivered.

Zuloo watched the events unfold as the giant fish both scaly and slimy with razor sharp teath erupted underneath the two figures infront of him. The Larger man was holding onto a fin until he found an opportunity to let go to land back on the beach. Zuloo lost track of the smaller one but decided it was better to retreat back to the shore. As Zuloo turned around to see that Wolf had jumped into a tree he was left with a player that was being perused by a group of three to four players. Some of them with yellowish orange markers above there head.

Zuloo had not reached that far into the lake and was right back out relatively fast. He decided to run right past the smaller pursued man. And clamoured into the group following him knocking everyone down with Zuloo tumbling down on the other size of the pursuers.
