After Zuloo had joined the fray, Wolf finally made his appearance.

Everything equipped, Wolf gently landed behind the four players, his body remained in the shadows. the sun had just set and a full moon had replaced it. "I see you're messing with my friend," Wolf said, golden eyes gazing deeply into their souls. He was quick to reveal his 182 cm long blade. "I was planning on eating that fish there but human meat might work too.

He let his blade out from under the shadow revealing how sharp it still remained despite the amount of times he had already used it. Being tall wasn't his only intimidating factor. It was the muscles that sold it. Similar in size to Zuloo, Wolf looked down on the group before him. Naturally 190 cm tall(6'3ish), 5 cm high boots, and a fluffy hair style that made him look 10cm taller, his highest point was 205 cm high (6'9").

"Shall we play?"

Just as Blacknife made to assault the group a giant man ran by him and ran into the group. For a second he thought it was Wolf but he wasn’t furry enough to be him. Not knowing who, but thankful for the help he rushed Coffin. He yelled “Attack the yellow players, if you do you won’t turn yellow yourselves”. Hoping they didn’t ask how he knew this information he attacked. Having his good sword out he got in close and twirled with his blade. Although not having blue leashes to use he had learned a thing or two from the boss battle only a few hours ago.

Then all the sudden another large man, almost a clone of the first one came out of the shadows. This one was Wolf, although slightly less fury then usual there was no mistaking that blade. Still battered from the boss fight it looked well used, beaten, worn down, and deadly. How this man had hid Blacknife had no clue but it was a sight for sore eyes. The man almost only stand there and the effect was visable, the sureness and brazeness of the four individuals wilted away and were eaten up by this imposing figure. To Blacknife it was like he was sent from the gods.

Flicking his wrist he made his blade carve a dark blue, almost black arc through the air, and through Coffin. Hoping the good Samaritan was doing all right all he could concentrate was killing this one person. Taking revenge become all he thought about, and it slowly took over filling him with rage. The world gradually, almost unnoticeably turned mute, almost colorless except for the red that his blade made as it went through the body of Coffin.

Wolf <<howled>> as loud as he possibly could, shaking everything around them like a mini earthquake. With the blade already making contact, all Wolf needed to do was add more fuel to the flame.

"Monsters from all over this side of the lake are going to swarm if I howl once more," Wolf said. "Your move, gentlemen."

Zuloo stood up dusting himself off his rubber duckie waders still wet from the lake. Zuloo had just ran in terror from the large death fish and was sure everyone thought of him as a coward. He grinned to take in everything there where players fighting now the group he had fell into on accident and the one he ran past with Wolf jumping down from a tree. As Wolf mentioned something about eating them Zuloo pieced it together slowly. Keeping silent Zuloo took up his hammer and stood on the path back to town.

Then he declared in a defiant voice "If you plan to flee I would not consider the path back to town." Zuloo hulked slowly to the yellow players Wolf on the left coming from the shadows and (blacknife) an unknown player from the shore who had turned to attack the one closest to him. Leaving the pursuers not many options they would have to go through one of the two large men or risk going through the one they where pursuing only to face the giant fish and the smaller man that was with Wolf moments before. Assuming he had not been eaten by the fish.

The darkness around Vyse faded as he regained consciousness. The shoreline he lay on look familiar, and he soon realised he was back where he had started. He tried to sit up, but a red hot pain flared in his chest and he began to cough, expelling the water from his lungs. After the coughing fit subsided, he stood up and examined the area. Night had fallen, and the beast of a fish had dissapeared back to the depths of the lake. However, all was not quiet. Just beyond the treeline, he could see a battle in progress. Although he could pick the players he had encountered before, he noticed some new additions to the group, two of which had a yellow marker above them. Worried, Vyse rose to his feet and set about joining his comrades in battle.

As he approached the fight, he noticed a player charge one of the attackers and as his blade trailed through the man, it left a large red gash revealing the inner lattice of his character. The man fell to his knee, but the attack was not enough to finish him. As he stood, he brought his blade up in a slashing motion, hoping to make a hit, but instead, he found his blade connect with Vyse's. Vyse had put himself between the figures, hoping to be of some assistance. The man tried to over power Vyse, but his efforts were in vein. With a smirk on his face, Vyse said, "You might have had the advantage before, but now that we're all here, we're going to trounce you!" And with a cackle he pushed the man backwards and off balance before kicking him hard in the chest.

"He's all yours," he said to his comrade.

Everything was varying shades of grey. His fury had rendered him almost completely color blind. Coffin tried to lift his sword, his hands, anything to defend himself but it did nothing. Blacknife was driven to kill, kill him for the embarrassment and torture that he had put his wife through. His wife had been so compassionate, so kind. She had wanted to be a healer in parties because she wanted to help people. In real life she had been a teacher, she never had deserved what had happened. The face that she had as the beasts had finally taken her kept replaying in his mind. No, no these men would never again be able to do that. Never again, never.

He was vaguely aware of another stopping a return attack by Coffin but he was so enraged he just launched himself at the enemy again.

His blade became a blur in the sky, it kept going faster and faster. Even he started almost losing control of the blade as it went through the air. If he was suffering any delays after using sword skills he didn't even know of he couldn't tell. He just kept slicing. Then as sudden as the whole scenario started, it finished. There was an expression on Coffin's face of bewilderment, then, nothing. He burst into a cloud of broken glass and started to disappear. Not knowing what to do, Blacknife just stood there. Steam was rising off him in waves and he just stood there. He looked like a demon possesed. The moonlight reflecting of the steam and his black blade seemed to absorb any light that came near it. He had been so fixed on killing Coffin that he hadn't thought of what else to do. He looked around and colors started to come back, slowly. All he could see was wolf, standing where he had been, and the three pursuers staring at him.

He was unsure why, then he realized what he had done, and his expression went from one of anger, of solid rage to something else. He looked confused, torn. Tears started rolling down his face as he looked at the others in the clearing and could say nothing, nothing at all.

One of the attackers had fallen, and it seemed as though everything had stopped. The man who had killed him was standing there, his chest rising and falling rapidly. It was obvious that he was overcome by a rage, and it was now starting to subside. Both Wolf and another man equally as frightening in stature stood on the other side of the three men, and Vyse and the unknown comrade (blacknife) stood together to stop the men from escaping. Vyse watched carefully, waiting for someone to move.

One of the men tried to run away, seeking the opening on either side of the battlefield. Before he could breach the treeline and out into the open, Vyse activated his «Sprint» and suddenly appeared before the man. Frightened, he fell backwards, trying the crawl away. Vyse stepped forward and put his boot on the mans chest, pinning him in place. "Whatever shall we do with you?"

"You've done well," Wolf said to the player in tears. "Allow us to handle the rest." The three friendlies stood confidently amongst the other players.

"Don't be so full of yourself," one of the green players charged towards Wolf striking him in the shoulder. 5% hp was taken away. His icon now turned yellow to issue a warning to this player.

"Sorry," Wolf said grabbing tightly on the players wrist, twisting it in a way that made him drop his weapon and drop to his knees. "But it's you guys who are full of yourselves." Wolf then held the player into the air. "I haven't damaged you yet. But I'm sure our fish like friends would love to." By now, Wolf's <<battle healing>> brought his 5% of hp back.

"So? What is it?"

As Wolf lifted the man into the air, the fear on his face became apparent. Vyse turned his attention back to the man beneath his boot.
"You said that if they're yellow and we attack, we don't become yellow?" He asked the others, and one gave a nod in confirmation. With that, Vyse pushed the tip of his blade through the mans shoulder and gave it a twist. The man screamed as the steel moved deeper and deeper into his shoulder, his health slowly depleting.

The scream brought him back from his spell. He felt hot and cold at the same. He was unsure where he was, why he was there. Slowly as things came back he tried to deal with them. He knew he would have nightmares, and think of this moment often. He had gotten his revenge for now but it had cost him dearly.

The scream came again.

He looked up and saw the one remaining green player that had pursued him. His name was PoH, and he just stood there. He started talking and it took Blacknife a moment to concentrate and tune in. He was saying ".... hope you remember this day for a long time. Just for you I will make a guild for players like me, and we will continue to pursue and kill players. Just for you I shall call it..... Laughing Coffin. For Coffin will be laughing at you from behond the grave and you will never be rid of him. Beware the Coffin. He then started walking out of the clearing, knowing that any move against him would cause much hardship and much explaining by the player. The two persuers remaining watched on as their leader walked away, then looked at their respective captors and started to quiver.

Blacknife took all this in, but made no move. Tears still fell with no pause, and he could do nothing but observe for he could not trust himself to speak.

Wolf released the player. "Go," Wolf warned. "And don't let me see your faces again."

Wolf placed his sword on his back again. "Leave while you have the chance." His stared deeply into their eyes.

"I came to cross the lake, but let's regroup at town first, and gather our thoughts there."

As Blacknife started to blankly follow Wolf and the rest of the group, he tried to manage to remember the names of the three remaining people before they disappeared into the forest but he had no chance. His brain was still reoiling from the fact that he had killed somebody. He didn't mean too, no that was a lie. He had wanted to. Sure he had been a part of the group that had klilled his wife but did that merit death. If he was honest, guilt by association was not enough. But as the husband it was hard to stay objective.

He would curse this moment for long after this, for if he had been stronger, smarter. He may have saved many lives but he didn't have the energy or the coldness needed to finish things. From now on he said that he would do everything in his power to not kill again unless he really had no choice. He knew to say never would be too much, but he had to try. His wife would have wanted that. Every time he thought of his wife or what she would have wanted his tears renewed. Barely putting one foot in front of the other he managed to follow the group. He didn't care where he went just so long as it was away from that place.

With every step he gained some of his strength back, but his soul was a completely different matter.

The hooded girl spent some time in the safe area of Parma resting up before officially heading to the combat field. She could hear some of the conversation from nearby players. They were talking about how there were already individuals heading to the combat zone. Some of the other players felt that it was much too soon to be heading out to fight. The girl felt she should not waste any further time gathering intel and actually head out to where the action was. She was determined to clear through the floors as quickly as possible, to return back to the real world. Her time in Aincrad was stealing away the opportunities back in reality.

It did not take her too long to encounter monsters once she was out of the safe town. There was no major trouble fighting against the bear cubs and mandrakes. The girl's speed with her rapier was extraordinary. It was as if the moving blade was barely visible to the eye. The biting bees were slightly more challenging because of how they came in a numerous swarm. Fortunately her speed was good enough to take down the bees.

She looked ahead and could see a body of water. The water screamed ominous which meant she was on the right track. In real life she would have never embarked on these dangerous adventures and her gut would have screamed for her to turn back. However the world of Aincrad made her hardy towards dangerous situations.

The hooded cloak would be a hindrance if she did go into the water, so she put away. With the hood gone, her long orange hair flowed down her back. The girl, Asuna, continued onwards holding her rapier with confidence. Once she came closer to the body of water, she could clearly spot some commotion going on. Perhaps some of the front line players ran into a disagreement with each other. There seemed to be an aura of rage and viciousness coming from them. Asuna decided that the best tactic would be to avoid them since they seemed like a dangerous bunch.

Zuloo grinned at the group and slapped wolf on the back "I'm not too sure what that was about but i'm glad i wasn't those guys."

"I only came out to get some of the rare minerals and ores from the combat field, and ended up wearing these rubber duckie waders, almost became fish food and on top of that PK'ers. This was an eventful day." Zuloo chuckled and followed the group waving at a young red haired woman entering the combat area. "Be careful miss that lake isn't exactly safe!"

While Asuna was walking closer to the water's edge, she could hear a booming and masculine voice calling out. Was he really talking to her? She took a quick second to look around to see if he was referring to another girl in the area. Then again there weren't many female presences in SAO at all.

She didn't feel like shouting back so she simply nodded her head and smiled kindly, as a gesture to show that she acknowledged his words. According to some of the other players back at the town, the water was where the most danger was at. She was now at the water's edge and just before she put her foot into the water, a piranha jumped out and tried to bite her with its sharp menacing teeth. Asuna nearly screamed in surprise but managed to restrain herself. This was no time for her to be acting like a typical girl.
