Argo kindly took his offer for free food. Although she received some Col from the previous Boss fight, she is practically spent. Most of the money was used to repair her equipment and stock up on her crystals. "It would also be nice to start conversing with other people to increase my network of information" she thought to herself as she followed Wolf.

"Well while we're here, let's start with me," Wolf said taking a seat by the balcony. He looked down at the main street and stared at a few of the players before looking back at her.

Their food had arrived and Wolf caught himself before he drooled. A giant piece of steak sizzled upon his hot plate. Before her began his steak adventure, he looked back at the girl. "What would you like to know?"

Once appearing from the portal to the fourth floor, Mizuko, a girl who looked 15 with long wavy blonde hair and eyes the color of clear deep sea water stepped out. Once she had heard about the clearing of floor three, she had immediately rushed here, knowing that she may be of some help here to the others. She had felt that maybe she could've been there to help at the last boss battle, which she heard that the boss was The Kobold Lord. She walks into town and sees the other players, resting and having happy faces.

After taking one last glimpse at them, she quickly exited the town, out of the safe zone. Then she started to space out, thinking up many questions, but having no solutions, no answers to the questions. "Why is this to happen to us?" she kept thinking, thinking up ideas, but then waved them away. "What is going through Kayaba Akihiko's head right now? What is he thinking? Why putting us through this?" she kept thinking. Suddenly, out of nowhere, she encountered several monsters and quickly snapped out of it just in time to block the first monsters attack. With extraordinary skills and speed, she and her rapier took down the monsters, one by one, until all of their HP went down to 0 and exploded into various polygons and disappearing in sparks. She quickly caught her breath and put her rapier away smiling as she walked towards the lake.

Blacknife had seen the very young woman show up on the floor and had been taken aback. He didn't even know such a young woman would be stuck in a place like this. This was truly a cruel world to take away the life of someone that should have been playing with friends, or planning a birthday party, not worrying about monsters and death. He was concerned but was unsure how to approach this new player, despite her size she appeared to be able to handle herself but he was kind of worried. Following her would just be creepy so he noted the direction that she went, noting with despair that she was headed towards the large lake.

"The damn lake again eh?" he mumbled as she walked off. Well if she wasn't back when it got dark or if he heard of any large monsters he would go and see how she was doing. While he was out he would check out the other woman that he had seen after he had... his thoughts stopped. He couldn't deal with that quite yet so instead he just started checking his weapons. His throwing weapons were secure and his sword was in its scabbard. Still thinking about how this world was becoming more and more unfair he started shopping for some new clothing. His had about enough durability to withstand a gust of wind before it disappeared. Looking for the store his thoughts wondered as he browsed and kept glancing at the sun.

Vyse wandered through a thick forest to the east of Parma. He had already explored the north area of the floor, and now wanted to find a good area to test his strength and his new armour. The forest was wild and overgrown, with stout vines often blocking his path -they were easy enough to dispatch but they were definitely a hinderance to his advance- and a number of small beasts had often tried to face off against him. Finally, he came to a large clearing, and in the center was a small camp set up with a few stores and a makeshift forge. Vyse approached the little camp, and when the NPC's noticed his presence they stood and greeted him.

The tents and small stalls were set up in a half circle around a campfire, and a few of the NPC's sat around it, poking it with sticks and telling tales. Vyse first inspected the food stall, purchasing a number of berries and fruits, as well and a handful of cured meats. "That should keep me fed for a day or two." he thought to himself before closing his inventory and moving on to the next tent. The heat from the forge prickled his face as a burly man worked the bellows. Upon seeing Vyse, he left the fire and stepped forward.
"I see your chestplate could use a bit of repair," He said in a deep voice. Vyse looked down at his armoured chest to see that it did indeed need some work. "Or if you're looking to put a bit more bite in your sword, I can also manage a few enchantments."
The latter sounded better to Vyse, as he still carried an old chestplate from previous floors incase he needed it.

When the upgrade was complete and the smith handed the blade back to Vyse, he inspected it closely. The blade no longer glittered gold like it did before, but instead had a green-blue hue about it. The new colour suited him more, now matching the deep blue of his cloak and shirt.
"The attack stat has been boosted a little, and the durability has been reset." the smith explained. Pleased, Vyse paid the man for a job well done before setting about browsing the rest of the camp.

After seeing that there was not much else to the small settlement, he bid the smith farewell, thanking him again for his services, and disappeared back into the forest.

After the group parted ways Zuloo had decided to talk the long and easy path around the lake. He had spent the day mining and gathering ores. With a nice haul and a whole day spent out in the combat area he had a big stockpile. Along his way he ran into the occasional small woodland creature nothing he couldn't handle. He took every opportunity to walk around large packs. it was now getting dark the sun was setting not quite gone yet.

Zuloo appeared at the entrance to <<Parma>> and proceeded to head to the inn, he had been out all night and day. He was so very tired and ready to smack his face on a pillow.

It was nearly another half an hour of trekking through rough terrain, monsters and various obstacles before he finally arrived in a clearing. It was nearly impossible to find because the forest around it was designed like a maze. There was thick thorny brush everywhere, enormous trees, and ruins covered by various nature all added up to a maze like forest. Though within this maze was a clearing he managed to discover, fairly peaceful at first appearance but with two other entrances where patrolling mobs would frequently enter from. It was at a fairly rapid rate and if one stayed hidden on the far side they could, at least he could, go undetected if he needed a rest. Glancing down to his companion wolf he smiled as a red arrow appeared in his vision, a patrol was getting close.

"Let's start!"

He moved up as the first group of robotic humans entered the clearing. There were three of them, two of which equipped with large broad swords and the third a scimitar. "Hum.. more than I was expecting.." though he was leveled enough he should be fine, quickly charging in with a speed they had trouble keeping up with. As he passed the first one it proceeded to swing downwards, which got interrupted by the wolf tackling the humanoid to the ground. Ravus didn't even look over to the event that was happening on his left, instead focusing on the next heavy sword that was swinging horizontally towards his neck. Bending backwards underneath the blade as he unsheathed the blade strapped to his back with his right hand and counter-attacked by slicing across the gut of the second humanoid. As he started to regain his balance and straightening himself out the third one proceeded to slice down at him.

"Too slow."

He mumbled as he pushed off with his left foot, rolling to the right behind the second humanoid and slashing upwards as he ended the roll by springing back up for a second hit on the second humanoid. His movement didn't stop though, as the second one started to turn Ravus already had his blade to the side as it started to glow orange before he released the sword skill skill,a Twin-hit called <<Snake Bite>>. The sword slashed right, and immediately slashed back left again. The last of the life of the humanoid vanished as it broke into data. The scimitar capitalizing on the moments pause after a skill and proceeded to slash at Ravus. Move damnit Move.. he thought to himself as that second seemed to take forever to unpause, attempting to dodge left the second he was released and barely failing to do so. Wincing slightly as the blade cut into his left shoulder and watching as his life dropped a decent amount, rather he just didn't have that high of a max life.

At that point his wolf let out a bit of a yelp as it was finally thrown from the first pinned automaton. It took a little damage but was quite sturdy, unfortunately for the mob which wasn't nearly as undamaged as the wolf since it was able to claw and bite him. Letting out a whistle as his blade came down on the scimitar user, rather the scimitar itself as the third creature moved up to block his strike. That was the trap though, with it's arms occupied holding off the incoming blade the wolf sprinted past the first mob, whose broadsword was much too slow to catch the wolf, and jumped on latching it's mouth onto the arm. The mobs Hp started to tick away and its defense was weakening quickly, with one more hard downward swing Ravus broke the defense of the scimitar mob and cut deep through it's HP but his attack wasn't done. He had the speed and reflexes to instantly cut back upwards and a slight angle removing the other arm from the creature, enough to finish the last of its life.

The pair turned to the third mob who was now mid-swing sideways at the wolf who had been hanging from the other mob, dropping underneath the blade the wolf escaped harm before moving up and latching itself to the leg of the last creature. Ravus wasn't nearly as ready to deal with the sideways swing that would clip him if nothing was done, instead he held his blade up and used his second hand to brace the blunt side of the blade. Blocking the swing which proceeded to push him as it finished, the robot moving to swing at the wolf only to get pierced by Ravus and finishing off the last of it's HP.

Letting out a breath, the battle that took no more than 50 seconds was finally over. It still felt like an eternity during the actual combat. Looking down to his pets HP before checking his own.

"Alright! We can do the next group. Let's try flawless this time."

The last light of the sun slowly disappeared leaving the forest dark, the thick canopy blocking out most of the light of the rising moon. Vyse's eyes slowly adjusted, but his vision was still poor, for he had not put much time nor effort into his «Night Vision» skill. He kept on moving forward, still slashing vines and small plants in his path, all the while making a ruckus as his boots crushed fallen twigs and leaves. Traveling alone often gave Vyse a lot of time to think, his mind conjuring up innumerable questions which he never had answers for.

Soon Vyse could see light shining in the distance through the wall of trees before him. Moonlight bathed his as he emerged from the forest. Before him was an open field, covered in craters that gathered small pools of water. As he moved between the holes, examining each one, he wondered what kind of event could leave the land so scarred. Whatever had done this, he did not want to meet it.

He had not long finished his chain of thought when the sound of a blade being drawn caught his ear. Drawing his sword, he spun around searching for the source of the sound. Behind him stood a human figure, eyes glowing red in the dim light. In its left hand it held a dagger with a jagged blade. The figure advanced, and Vyse noticed that its movements seemed peculiar.
"A robot..?"

Crack

Chiiik

... Huh?

Yuuki opened her eyes, cursing herself when the onslaught of sunshine practically murdered her scarlet orbs. Her senses started to come back to her and she cursed again when her a sharp throbbing resonated from her back. Stretching her arms high above her head, Yuuki felt a twitch in her lap, startling her so badly she almost fell, catching both the item and herself before they both fell into the branches below. Pulling herself back up, Yuuki's eyes, now having considerably gotten used to the damn sun, widened when she saw exactly what she was holding. It chirped at her, sticking it's spiked, sloppy tongue on her cheek and licking upwards. She looked at the little dragon.

It was... cute. The dragon was a deep golden color, like flowing honey. It had little spikes prodding from the top of it's head, long, feathery tendrils smooth as silk popping out behind them. The dragon's eyes were the deepest hue of white she had ever seen, and they stared up at her expectantly. Why had it hatched so soon?

Reaching out to pet it softly on the head, the dragon bit her finger lightly. She retracted her fingers and chuckled lightly. It was obviously hungry. Hopping down from the tree, Yuuki set off, back to the village, dragon perched in her shoulders.

It was a new day, set with new promises.

As Wolf finished exchanging information with the cat-like woman, he said his farewells and headed towards a shop. Browsing the two handed weaponry he found nothing that was as heavy as he preferred. He knew he would have to see Zuloo for that. He exited the shop and checked his inventory for food goods. 'Meat on a bone' filled his 'use' inventory almost to full. "Yeah, I'm not picking up any more of that," Wolf thought to himself.

He headed towards an inn, calling it a night.

Sitting in pretzel position on top of his rented bed, Wolf used his <<detection>> skill and tried to expand his radius. He wore nothing but his casual pants as he focused on his technique. There were many, many people still residing in town. Eventually he found a gap where no people stood. That must be near the outskirts of town. Then eventually he felt the presence of a few more players just a bit farther. That's as far as he could go.

This was good enough. It was quite the range even though he had to concentrate on it harder than orange juice can concentrate. Either way, he lay back and let the "dream world" take over. Long battles lie not too far off, he must be physically and mentally prepared for them.

The humanoid figure lurched forward, and the blade in its hand flashed in the moonlight. Vyse shifted his weight and managed to avoid the stab, dropping his shoulder beneath the enemies extended arm. With his free hand he grabbed the attackers wrist and delivered a sharp blow to its cheek with the pommel of his sword. Dazed, the humanoid stumbled forward before correcting its stance and again turning to attack. The second attack was faster than the last, and the blade came rushing downwards from above. As the dagger swept down, Vyse pointed the tip of his blade down, forcing the dagger to glance off his sword and away from him. As the humanoids weapon traveled past him, he stepped to the side and in a swift motion, whipped his sword downwards. The blade connected and cut the robot from shoulder to hip, and Vyse watched as it stumbled and fell to one knee.

Vyse circled his opponent, and the humanoid slowly rose again, still not finished. It held its dagger outstretched, ready to strike again, but as it moved forwards, it fell, no longer able to support its own weight. It could not keep going. He watched on as the almost human shape before him struggled to stand once more, and before it could rise to its full height, he cut it down.

Vyse watched as the mechanical body that lay sprawled in the grass before him began to break apart, and the pieces wafted upwards into the night sky. With a disappointed huff, he sheathed his sword and began to walk away. Before he could reach the treeline on the other side of the field, a message appeared in front of him. It was a notification, informing him that a party of scouts had located the boss room. "Already?" He thought, surprised at what little time it had taken to locate the final room. Without much more thought, Vyse produced a crystal from a pouch in his cloak and held it above his head.

"Teleport, Parma!"

Zuloo woke up well rested and herd the people in the <Rum Runner's Inn> talking about the boss room. He made his way to stock up on crystals and the like beforehand. Afterwords he posted a notice on the bulleten board in <<Parma>>

-Any and all who would be or are part of the lead group, Meeting for boss room at the <Rum Runner's Inn> back room 12 p.m.-

He came down and gently rapped his fist on the bar. "Barkeep I'll be using the back room today! Keep any eye out for members of the lead group and send them to me. I will be waiting in the back room, also here is some col for some food and drinks for us." The large man handed the barkeep a small coin pouch and smiled thanking the barkeep.

Zuloo went to the back room of the Inn and waited patiently.

Asuna delivered the final blow upon the humanoid. Once it was defeated, it dispersed into polygons. The rapier user was breathing heavily since she just faced against two humanoids at once. It was already tough going against one, so two was much more challenging. She felt that she already did enough at the combat zone and decided to head back to the safe town, Parma.

It took her a while to get back to the town, where she immediately headed to the inn she checked into earlier. There was some excited chatter about how the floor was completely mapped and the boss room was found. That meant one thing, that the boss raid would be happening soon. This was her opportunity to really help out with the front line movement. Usually she slept only 2-3 hours a night because she spent most of the night improving her sword skills. This night would be different than those training nights because she would need to be well rested for tomorrow's potential boss fight.

Once she woke up, she exited her inn and saw an interesting post at the bulletin board. Apparently one of the players had taken the initiative to organize a meeting to discuss strategies before the fight. She saw she had some to spare before the meeting time at 12 PM.

Wolf, after a nice rest, passed the bar seeing a familiar body inside. "Zuloo?" He said as he made his way in. "The boss room appeared," Wolf thought to himself. "We should definitely meet up first."

With that in mind, the big bodied, two handed sword user went to meet up with the other bodied warrior. Having two tanks in this next boss battle might just keep everyone else alive.
