Blacknife had caught up a while back but he didn't want to be with the group. He wasn't comfortable in groups and he didn't want to stick his foot in his mouth again. So instead he walked in the trees beside the path, he wasn't trying extraordinarily hard to hide his presence but he didn't go out of his way to show it either. In the last boss battle he had not done much and he was still somewhat ashamed of it. The one guy had thanked him for his throwing needles but it had almost sounded somewhat empty. Oh well he thought, guess this time I will get plenty of chances. He still felt like a burden and being one of the older people in the group he didn't want to be thought of as useless. He awaited Vyse to catch up with the group and when he did he would give him some pointers on how to throw. Nothing overly complicated, just enough to be effective. Hoping he could maintain the facade that he was fine and not nervous, or sad for the younger ones he started approaching the group through the trees as Vyse got closer to the party

"Yo," Wolf casually said to Zuloo. There was something about their similar statures that made it easier to talk to him. "I only have one bottle on me. I figured I'd save it for after we beat this guy." Wolf talked as if no one was going to die, because he wasn't going to let anyone die, not any more.

He took a look towards the path behind him, the people continued to appear over the horizon. As Biri biri came into view, Wolf looked casually back at Zuloo. "Shall we peddle our way over to the boss?"

"Haha, I thought you'd never ask!" Zuloo looked in back the last of the group catching up. "Last one there is a rotten egg!" He shouted in a booming voice." Zuloo leaned out with his right foot ever so slightly to catch Wolf's left. He had tripped him know that his mass would block the path, since Zuloo was so big he was never one for winning foot races but he was always one to lighten the mood. Assuming Wolf wouldn't mind a little dirt on him that was.

Zuloo called back "No cheating either!" He chuckled trying to convince people Wolf was just clumsy.

Wolf fell over but he wasn't going to be beaten that easily. He grabbed a hold of Zuloo's leg probably causing him to trip over too. "I don't like rotten eggs." Wolf said with his dark and mysterious voice. They might not be the fastest two but he wasn't going to be in last place that's for sure.

Blacknife came out of the trees in front of the two men. They seemed to be trying to fist fight or run, but he didn't know which was of more importance. Not knowing why they were running he just took up a front position and easily jogged to stay away from the two brawling men. He sure hopped Vyse would learn to throw a dagger before they got there but it looked like they had a little time.

Zuloo grinned as he pushed himself off the ground. "Hey wolf, I said no cheating!" As he said this Zuloo had gotten up and started running shoulder to shoulder with the large man. It was rare to meet someone who could push back against someone his size let alone someone as tall and big as himself. Zuloo enjoyed not feeling like an outcast a giant. Then the boss door had come in sight about 300 yards down the narrow corridor approaching fast.

The air was so carefree; not at all like they might just die in the next waking hours. Zuloo and Wolf were a great pair, anyone could tell that it looked as if they had been friends for a great deal of years. As Wolf fell with a thundering smack that shook the surrounding trees a little, Yuuki had to jump straight over his towering figure as they continued onwards; trying not to listen to the him curse. The rest of the group trailed a little, but they would all make it together. She smiled as she looked over the familiar faces; Vyse, Zuloo, Mr. Susicious, and Black. She would try to get to know the other girls as well, and Yuuki smiled again as Olive came down to perch on her shoulder, his scales dancing with gold. She ruffled his long, feathery tendrils and started to pick up the pace so that she was a little behind Zuloo.

It was a really nice feeling; better than the bad side of her, at least. There was something warm about this feeling as they all headed to the boss room. Even though they were facing immenent death, she knew that they all felt at ease. Something dawned on her. It was something she had been looking for; it was placed before her right now.

People she could trust and depend on.

Wolf ran shoulder to shoulder next to the equally massive player. 300 yards, there it was. The two hulking players were completely unaware of Black who was lightly jogging in front of them. At the speed they were going at, it was impossible to stop.

Wolf saw Black at the last minute but he was unable to dodge him. The three of them tumbled over continuously thanks to the relaxed pedestrian.

Black was almost crushed under the two men. His health in fact dropped a little and his battle healing kicked in. "Jeez thanks guys. Just what I have always wanted, a crushed rib cage." Getting up he smiled, and it was funny, the smile came naturally. It wasn't forced, was because it seemed like it was the thing to do. He was genuinely happy minus the fact that the two men were still on him trying to get up. Wondering when he had started to find happiness in others company he looked towards the door. Most of his happy feelings went away but some remained. They were here and this would be a long battle. But he hoped the beginning of something. What he didn't know, but it just felt like the beginning of something special. Something that was worth living for, something worth fighting for.

"Look out!" Yuuki screamed, trying to warn the idiodic males of what was in their path, but alas, they were too thick headed. She winced as a crash resonated, echoing slightly as the sound taveled. Ending up in a heap in front of the large doors, Yuuki sighed and a tic began to form on her head out of annoyance. If they kept this foolishness up, then they would just be digging their own graves. Helping Black up, Yuuki huffed and turned away from them and pointedly turned her gaze to the massive doors. They towered over her and were graced with shrewd vines that roped themselves around the cracking wood. As the last of the party was gathered, Yuuki turned to them and glanced at each and every one of the brave people who had showed up. They all held no trace of uncertainty in their facial expressions. Yuuki turned back to the door, and her heart started beating erratically, just as it had been before. Olive screeched loudly, a bloodcurling battle cry.

The blue haired girl licked her lips and smiled devilishly. Resisting the urge to laugh, Yuuki drew her katana from it's sheath, its purple aura glowing menacingly. Claws outstretched, Olive landed once more on her shoulder, wings flapping frantically as it hissed furiously, feeling the way his master did. The feeling was back; consuming her completely, and there was no room left to turn back now. Yuuki placed a hand on the door, drawing her nails into it as Wolf took his time giving orders to everyone.

It was time to face hell, and Yuuki was filled to the brim with a desire for blood to be shed.

Mizuko appeared near the group just in time to see two guys, one of them Wolf and crashed into Black. She smacked her palm to her forehead lightly and shook her head while smiling. "Idiots" she thought to herself as she reached the front of the big doors. "Is everyone here?" She asked them, while they recovered from their 'accident' and realized one of her group mates were missing. Then she turned back to the big doors in front of her. "Well, this is it. Time to be serious." she told herself as she took out her rapier, which had a faint blue light around it. "Get ready. The battle is going to start soon" she told the group.

After thanking Yuuki for caring more about him then the two who had just run into him he noticed the tone change. Although it didn't feel like it this was a time when they had to not only progress, but see if they could progress as a team. How they worked together would either save them, or kill them. But it was odd; the thought was as frightening as it had the right to be. He somehow knew that they would get through this; he just hoped they all did. Shocked out of his thoughts he heard the battle cry from Yuuki's new pet. It looked almost too cute to have the obvious blood lust that it had. Obviously the owner didn't mind because she made no move to calm it. Well that was all right, a little chaos never hurt. Equipping his throwing knives, making sure they were the poisoned ones with the damage over time enchantment he followed the rest in, not for the first time wondering what his life would have been if he hadn't decided to put on the nerve gear and come to this world.

There it was. Wolf dusted himself off again as he got up. Floor 4 of 100. "The boss is probably as big as this door, everyone," Wolf said. His statement started off sounding like he was scared but ended up sounding like he was excited. A monster this big is exactly what he was waiting for. He wanted the title, dragon slayer, for himself. He wanted to see how tough this guy really is. He wanted to show him that he was tougher.

Wolf turned around and faced the group. Standing in between them and the door made him look like the guardian of it. No one shall pass, was the look he had when he stood there before them. "We seem to be missing a person, but they could come by later. The plan is the same. Two groups. One tank per group. When switching, keep your teammates in mind. If you need to heal, ask your tank for assistance. Keep in mind, your tank may be mid striking so always take caution when healing. Also one more thing." Wolf paused briefly before continuing.

"Lives are more important. We could always retreat and try again. No one is allowed to die before I do."

"Who would like to do the honors of opening the door?"

Mizuko walked towards the big doors and stopped in front of it. "I will... do the honors of opening the doors, if I may."she answers calmly before placing her hand lightly on the big doors. Closing her eyes for a second, she pushed it open. The doors swung open like gates that made creaking noises. Her right hand gripped tightly on her rapier as the doors swung to a stop, revealing darkness in the room. Taking a deep breath, she stepped forward. "Ready or not here I come"

The doors creaked open and everyone seemed to hold their breath. The doors swung back into the darkness and stopped with a echoing boom. People started to walk across the threshold, and as the last of the group entered, the doors began to close again, and with a loud crash, locked shut again. This was it. Vyse drew his sword, and the sound echoed, along with the footsteps of the parties.

The dark abyss before them was suddenly filled with the roar of fire as the pillars in the corners flickered to life, illuminating the room. The dark marble floor reflected the orange light, giving the room a warm feel, despite the dark air that hung about. Vyse listened and watched, waiting for the inevitable.
