Now that the dust has settled on last Tuesday's news worthy announced that the Walt Disney Company has acquired Lucasfilm and then release a seventh "Star Wars" film for the possibility of 2015 (with more to follow!), but my speculation about what "Episode 7" will be about is the scripts George Lucas have already wrote back in 1970s, I think? I mean, he already written Episode 7-9 back in the day he was thinking of doing after ROTJ but first let's go over what I hope it's not about.

I hope they find someone in our younger generation that is resemble to Harrison Ford when he played Han Solo, & Leia is probably easy to find since there are hundreds of actress that can play Princess Leia very well! As much as we all love the original three films, the thought of seeing Mark Hamill back being as Jedi Master elder to train new Jedi after ROTJ since Mark Hamill must be in it! I think they can find some room to fit Harrison Ford & Carrie Fisher as guest star. Anyways, Mark Hamill still got the look as he did in 1970s but all he need is a little talent makeup professionally from Hollywood to make him look younger like some movies we see that make elders actors look ten-twenty years younger on screen.

If Disney must, give the original trio a nod, maybe use Yoda in cool Jedi blue ghost flashbacks from holocrons or something he left behind that Luke Skywalker wasn't aware of since George Lucas said to Disney that Yoda must be in it, but Disney must not screw up Star Wars brand since they officially brought Lucasfilm rights to make Star Wars films. I am uncertain if Disney owns Lucasart as well? I hope Disney let Lucasart makes games since I know Disney not into games these days.

We don't need a Kingdom Hearts style in Star Wars future! I thought it work well with SquareEnix Final Fantasy!

The first six films chronicled the journey of the hero of father (Anakin) to son (Luke) which was fantastic entertainment, so this "Episode 7" I hope Disney throw us something completely unexpected and excited. I'd love for the new Star Wars story after Disney completely finish 7-9 original tale - to do as so many do for future of Star Wars, completely bring Star Wars entertainment to audiences worldwide! I would love to see Star Wars live-action TV series in the future like the series starts from the very beginning where they learn and journey on finding out the mysteries of Jedi and so on before the old republic!

I think George Lucas has some control of Star Wars IP and making sure Disney doesn't make any mistakes with his Star Wars he created when they were signing contract agreements for Disney to own Lucasfilm for 4 billion dollars.

Can't wait to see what Disney will conjure up with this installment.

The SW universe is huge, so anything can be explored. Im a huge fan of the cartoon series and their take of various SW adventures never seem dull.

If anyone has been reading the expanded universe for Star Wars Disney will not be following it so everything should be original an original, Im also confused is Disney making this or distributing it, because they made Pirates of the Carribean and distributed The Avengers

I suspect it could be set along time after the new republic is made. I still haven't read all the books after episode 6, if they are canon then some very dark & twisted events have happened.
If anything, the original cast might make cameos with a whole new story and cast in favour. I'd like to see darker characters i.e. like grievous from the original clone wars cartoon, because he kicked ass and was unstoppable, then he was ruined for the film.

Either way, I believe it's in safe hands with J.J.Abrams as director, after all he did write cloverfield and directed the new star trek. So he knows scale of these universes and while bringing something unique to the universe, he also respects the originals.

Ever since finding out J.J. Abrams is directing I lost all interest in seeing the movie. Not because of him being a bad director. He's pretty good, I liked the new Star Trek even though not being a Star Trek fan beforehand. But geez get someone who isn't already tied to the Star Trek reboot films!!! That just bothers me.

As long as Disney don't have this in mind, I'm excited to see the new installment:
