Can you trick or treat as a teen, or even as an adult?
Posted 11/8/12
I stopped at around 13. Not because I felt 'too old' for it, just most of my friends stopped for some reason, so I didn't want to go on my own and look a bit stupid!

The parties are so much better than trick or treating anyway!

Kids should stop at 13. Any adult who comes to my door asking for candy gets a news paper clipping for a job.

Yeah I stopped at about 14 I think, but hey if your having fun then you shouldn't care what people think about you trick or treating at an older age.

I guess you could go at any age really but why would you? Getting the candy is fun because you're not sure what you're going to get but then again you also don't know what those people have done to it or how old the candy is >_> Someone gave me expired snickers one time. Was gross.

If it's just about the candy- Wait until the day after Halloween and buys INSANE amounts for cheap.

If it's about dressing up- you can dress up! Go to a party or just go around scaring people. Jump out of bushes or dress up as a the kool aid man and break through a fake wall and scream OOOOH YEAAHHH as people pass by. <- Was a nice costume Painted myself red

Summary: People are scary. No idea where that candy has been. Dress up anyway!

Last year I gone out for 'trick and treat' but people threw candy at me, so I didn't this year. But I will try again next year in different area.

There is really no age restriction, but you would get weird looks doing it as an adult.

My friends dragged me along last year. Didn't have a costume and felt like a dick. SO I just hit behinh walls so I wouldn't be seen while they went up to get the sweets or to be told to fuck off and grow up.

I go if I want to go. I don't believe one should put an age restriction on any form of entertainment or joy. I believe that a person can stop if they want to stop but not because it's 'normal' or because people say that they should.

Sometimes I won't go because I'm just not in the mood or because I'm too lazy but I do go trick-or-treating still when I'm up for it. I don't see anything wrong with it, honestly. My opinion. <3
