( a panel of MEN admitted to these secrets)!

5. Worried that you're turning into your mother.

4. Overwhelmed with the idea of being with one person forever.

3. They don't know what they are doing down there.

2. They are jealous of their single friends.

1. They watch more porn then we know.

Before anyone caps on me, I like men, and am just trying to understand them. So please maybe add to the list, or comment on the list. I have a feeling this could get alittle rough.

Indeed. They don't regard other men as rivals unless hunting for females, and even so, they have wingmen. They're not like women, who regard every other woman as rivals (a.k.a 'bitches') and talk of them behind their back. Even mothers do that to their daughters.

This coming from a woman who has been called 'an honorary man' by her university friends.

But, but... I can admit to all those secrets too... does that secretly make me a man?

5. They don`t care.

3. Spending their time on Gaming.
2. They always cheat.
1. Addicted to Alcohol.

5. Harsh generalization. It makes it sound like it's always the guy's fault if things don't work out. Guys can get heartbroken, too, and sometimes it's their partner who doesn't care. My ex-wife is a perfect example of this.

4. Again, harsh generalization. My ex-wife was a compulsive liar, would get off on creating drama where there wasn't any, and was in general quite manipulative, even to those she considered friends. I may have been blind to a lot of the crap she pulled until after it was all over, but I also try to see the best in others. I don't feel cynical now about other women because of her, nor automatically assume they'll try to screw me over as she did.

3. I'm a gamer and anime fan for life, despite being legally blind since birth. These are a huge part of my life (I'm also an as yet unpublished board game designer) but that doesn't prevent me from being able to carry on hours-long conversations, much less from being sociable. (Then again, if I'm not sociable, how will I make any initial sales? Rhetorical question, there.) I also used to be a semi-decent archer, despite the difficulty level being cranked to 11. I don't know what stereotypes you have in mind about male gamers, but speaking for myself, I'd love to have a woman I can not just enjoy anime and games with, but share in some of her hobbies, too.

2. Contrary to this, I've never cheated, but I've been cheated on. It sucks, and I don't want to be someone who does that to anyone I care about. It's dishonest and hurtful behavior, no matter who does it. And yes, my ex-wife cheated, more than once.

1. I haven't had a drop of alcohol since I left Germany 20 years ago. For the record, I lived there for almost eight years, and it was legal (or at least, not of terrible social concern) back then; if you could reach the bar, you could order a drink. I'm certainly capable of drinking now; I just choose not to. Personal preference.

So, you got one out of five right, in my case. But even then, nothing I've stated is even remotely a secret, and thus nothing I'd try to keep from anyone who'd want to get to know me. The secrets I keep are the ones told to me in confidence, and those will stay with me until I die.

5: I'm guessing that this is referencing their girl friend? Because that would be "interesting" if the guy was scared that he was turning into his mother.

I don't know about other guys, but personally I always look at the woman's mother to see what she is going to be like in a few years or so, give or take.

Pro tip: Look at her father to see if you stand a chance of being a long-term partner for her or not. The more similar you are to her dad, the more likely you are to last with her. This, of course, is assuming that her dad is not a nut case.

4: This is pretty much everyone. I wouldn't use the word "overwhelmed", but it's a huge choice to make. I'd suggest dating someone for at least 2 years before you plan to get married. That's how long the "blind love" stage lasts. If you can't keep your relationship together for two years of dating, then you certainly won't be able to keep a life-long marriage together.

3: Just ask her what she wants. It's really not a big deal. Guys are not psychic, and guys and women both need to accept this fact.

2: That's why you date for awhile first. It's a lot easier and a lot less expensive to exit an unhappy relationship. Otherwise, I suggest brainstorming over the course of a few days or so and coming up with ideas to spice up the relationship. It could also help to begin making a list of the things that you're grateful for.

Being single definitely has its perks, though.

1: I don't understand how this is a secret. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=The+Internet+Is+For+Porn.

EDIT: In my experience, guys aren't big on secrets. We keep them very well, but we don't have "guy secrets" or such. Maybe that's just the circle of people I've known, but it's a strange concept to me. Guys are generally open. Some are manipulative, yes, but then again so are some women.

I am interested the age group and who you asked these questions to? Just curious on that. Also I have already seen people start bashing us men. I could go say a few things myself, but I will refer to the quote below. Men get hurt as well as women just remember that. Also if you would like to know a little about my opinion send a pm. peace
