Something I can't relate to since I have never had a friend, only acquaintances. I do know I'd want friendship to be something strong and able to work through any situation besides letting the relationship crumble. I'd want to consider a/some friend(s) close as family also.

Friendship is knowing that somewhere out there is this vast world there is another person who is supportive of you and has your back thru thick and thin, and never takes you for granted. Plus, all the amazing words you guys have contributed..from your hearts. I appreciate it.

A true friendship is the one to tell the truth, even they'll tell you that your favorite looks bad on you XDD
A true friend(s) are always with you, even you're distant away from them.
To not only comfort you, but tells you to stand for yourself and protects you from the darkness & evil.
True friend(s) will nagged you and wants to help you out in anyway as possible.
True friendship is that they'll cry for your passing and remembered the times with you.
Hell, they may joke with you and still stuck no matter what <333

A true friend is an unrelated family member.
Will you cry for them?
Will you die for them?
Will you love them regardless of their faults?
Easy enough question imo. Do people who ask these really have no idea?
I think extraterrestrials have invaded the internet for reconnaissance.

Honestly, things like respect, equality, loyalty, kindness, and honesty are all secondary to me. They may not even have anything to do with friendship, although I am very skeptical about that last part. To me, it all boils down to a mutual understanding of someone's "inner sanctum," so to speak. Sometimes traits like the ones above follow from this, but I will also say that I have felt a somewhat deep connection with some people that I disliked and/or didn't really get along with too well, and it sometimes felt like we just knew what the other person was thinking, which formed a "bond" of sorts, even though we annoyed each other a bit. I would probably call that person a "true friend," even though kindness and loyalty were not really a part of our dealings. Likewise, most other people that I consider close friends are able to talk about things that would otherwise be embarrassing or socially sub-standard. It's more difficult to hide something with these people because any cover-up would seem against the "character" that they already know. That is, making up an excuse that makes you seem more "normal" clashes with their knowledge of your weirdness. Thus, "honesty" follows from understanding. I think an argument could be made that all the other "traits" (respect, loyalty, kindness) also follow from understanding, but I won't get in to that now.
For tl;dr, if I were to pick a cheesy quote-type response to summarize, it would be something like, "you can spend hours with someone, barely talk at all, and consider it a fine experience."

True friends will be there for you to help and support you when the shit hits the fan, not just when things are all fun and great.

First of all the person have to respect and accept who I am, and love me for being me. They cant only take me for the good things, but must also be able to handle my bad sides. I'm also grateful if they're being 100% honest with me and dont hold anything back. I want to be a friend you can talk to about anything, and same to them ~

I'm not sure, but if I had a guess...
I think friendship is being able to admire each others faults and laugh at them. Just being able to understand one another and take criticism without being defensive. I think a lot of friendships are lost because friends take advantage of each other. We are all human and we are all selfish, but we shouldn't let those become excuses for us.
