Because its finally on CR and I'm hoping I'm not the one of the few watching it and wanting to talk about it still lol ep 1 (because I forgot to post my impressions of ep 0) So this ep feels more like a retread of the first ep of the first season and I'm fine with that, its still pretty funny and 4th wall breaking goodness I'm still getting used to Chizuru's new seiyuu, Mafuyu's may have changed but it sounds very similar to the original. Chizuru's on the other hand seems to lack that darker personality in her voice but that's just me Chizuru's voice is still good though

Krakox 49159 cr points Send Message: 22 / M / Denmark Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 1/17/13 the sad thing about the show is that not only have Chizuru gotten a new VA but her personality is not as independant as before.. she really isnt the same as before.. i dont think that the voice actors are doing a bad job, they sound quite similar but the way they make the characters have changed for the worse i think

Ken's sister is incredibly awesome for pulling that off. New addition to the harem, or just obligatory imouto character? The whole step-sister part makes me think maybe it's the first one. Either way, I'd love to see more of her in the future. That episode was magnificent. This show and Sakurasou make me cry tears of laughter every Wednesday.

If you go out of your way to make a harem out of the student council, and make numerous comments regarding the 4th wall, isn't that already unrealistic? Out of everything that was unrealistic about that show, they took what could've been the most gratifying part of the series and dropped an anvil of cynical reality on you. It's like a big waste of time. lol, sorry. Just had to vent my frustration. But do you agree or disagree?

To answer your question, I would disagree, reason being, the theme of this series lies under slice of life. There is always going to be a portion of life represented in archetypes with that theme, except this series took it a step further. Anyhow, just take this as a learning opportunity, because this series basically face-palmed all harem animes in school settings. Morale of the story Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Although I do understand your frustration, I was a bit perturbed when I already knew what I was getting into, mainly because I watched the first season and through out the series and there are constant remarks about them leaving and graduating. But with the romantic build up from two seasons and how the the protagonist finally get's his feelings reciprocated... and then they dropped the bombshell known as reality. It was a little too much even for me

They appeared in S1 as his individual encounters with the student council members, each one encouraging him to better things. This season, they appeared as reminders of the fleeting nature of youth, and the easy associations that come, then go as we all grow up. (I thought it would hammer that point even more in the series ending, actually.) Because of that underlying theme, Spoiler Alert! I never once believed he really wanted that; that that was just his schtick--his way of expressing his fondness for everyone and for trying to make everyone happy. Click to show or hide The series could have taken alternative routes, it is an anime after all, although i did expect the writers would go through with the realistic approach, I could not help but think what tall tale ending they could have gone with,
