Do you think that everybody has a special someone that is completely compatible with them?

Or are some people just destined to be alone for their entire lives?

I'm beginning to think it is the latter, because I am simply too shy to meet anybody. I don't have a very high self-esteem, so I am definitely not date-worthy to the average girl. I think it would take a very special person indeed to ever consider hanging out with me, and my confidence in meeting that particular person is beginning to fade...

I often hope so, but seriously doubt it. Pessimistic man is pessimistic.

Same here, and based on what I have heard girls say about how you need to be optimistic about life and such, I doubt there is anybody out there who would like a pessimistic guy.

I highly doubt I'll ever find someone interested enough to take the time to get me to open up. hell, getting a girl to even talk to me is sort of a miracle in and of itself.

Some people are "better" off alone, those kinds of people are called introverts, which also are people like urself, low self-esteem, shy, having a hard time connecting to people etc. around half of the worlds population is like this, so in a way i would say yes, theres someone for everyone out there.

But the trick isnt if ur perfectly suited for eachother, its how ur personalities clash and what comes from that, which in the end determines if ur right for eachother.

I know its not something which is easy to test, when you're barely "out there", but like with continental plates moving etc creating both epic mountain chains and vulcanos, there is a clear indicator ^^ So when you're with the right one im certain ull have no doubt what so ever :D

The thing you guys are doing, is pretty much focus too much on urselves ^^ the easiest way out of this imo would be some kind of internet dating site, where you just talk to women, and then progress from there in whatever way you want, if you wanna go IRL or continue online etc, but in the end i think all ur trouble can actually be solved by just doing what you cant get urself to do at this moment

You came to that conclusive analysis from 3 sentences from 3 different people?

And this is why I believe that pyschologists are very frightening.
