I've been watching anime on crunchyroll for a while now, and there're always a couple of things I notice that crunchyroll fails to do correctly.
1) In Japan, people say the first name last. For example: Uzumaki Naruto.
Obviously, Naruto is the first name. So please, crunchyroll, get it right and stop translating it to "Tachibana Mei" when it should be "Mei Tachibana" or whatever the name may be. (Even if the character says it that way or has a pause between first and last name)
2) Also, I've noticed that in one show, the characters say Senpai (upperclassman) but crunchyroll translates it to "Sempai."
In another show, the character's names are on nametags (in English) as "Namba" but crunchyroll always puts "Nanba" in the subtitles.
It doesn't matter what you think they said or what it sounds like, what is actually said should be placed in the subtitles.
So please, crunchyroll, earn my respect once again and translate correctly. Especially for those people who know some or a lot of Japanese. (viewers shouldn't be smarter than you)
