I wanted to vote for Batman. Sadly, they didn't have him as an option.

I didn't bother voting. I could have cared less for this election. I never missed voting until this election. I hate both candidates with a passion.

Honestly I don't really get everyone trying to pressure people into voting and saying things like "I don't care who you vote for as long as you vote." Because if you don't care who I vote for then why do you care if I vote? I could write in Megatron for president and you are seriously saying that is better than not voting? Or are you saying that blindly choosing candidates is better if you are ignorant of the issues? Or that you are a worse person if you don't believe in either candidate and so you choose not to participate? (Don't give me that "You have more than two choices" crap either because it just isn't true. If I don't vote Democrat or Republican for president then I may as well vote for Megatron).

If I vote and who I vote for is no one's business but my own.

This forum post is fine because it is saying hey don't forget to vote and not "Go vote or you are a bad person!" But people on FB were ridiculing someone because they choose not to vote. Saying they are irresponsible and people died for your right and blah blah blah.

You can say the same about any right but the point is it is THEIR right. Voting is not mandatory and attempting to shame someone into going through the motions is ridiculous.

I do vote and I do believe one candidate is better than the other but this craziness around election time is absurd. /end rant

The thing is the electoral college is only good when 100% of voters actually vote. I think it's like 1 point per 500,000 people in the state. So, say if one person in California voted and no one else his lone vote would give X candidate 55 points whereas millions of votes by some small state would only give Y candidate 3 points. It should be destroyed and give popular vote so each vote actually does count.

I was going to vote for Ron Paul, but he was not on the ballot so I left it to the sheeple to decide who will implement world war.

Romney 2016! The Electoral college won't be going away nor should it; it gives small states a voice in the Federal government - if you look at a county map, Romney won in a landslide. If there is any change, they should award votes per congressional district instead of "winner takes all." Obama has been a colossal failure ...but Americans want him anyway. I won't be signing up for Obamacare in any case - let them enforce the fine if they can.
