An enormous town taking up practically the entire 41st floor. The city surrounds a lake which circles this floor's piece of the Aincrad tower. There is a single long bridge that connects the outside ring with the tower.

Within a small but incredibly well kept room near Melidus' lake, a set of rings appear. Following after them appears the silhouette of the player Taitu who had just escaped from the first floor. The man opened his eyes to the familiar sight of his home. Taitu slowly stepped towards the balcony of his second floor apartment as he opened his equipment window.

He temporarily removed his weapon, <The Sovereign Falchion>. While this body was not real, the weight of such heavy things was being simulated through the Nerve Gear trapping him to this world. Taitu expressed the relief of this weight with a deep breath. Upon reaching the banister of his porch, Taitu looked out on to the view he had of the hulking lake, and the Aincrad Tower.

This floor had become relatively abandoned upon its completion. The very reason for this was the clear view of the tower. Most players didn't need a constant reminder of the trials that plagued them in this world every day. Taitu's perception was different though, that sight was no less than a motivation for him. It was a certain man who had constantly pushed him into striving for more, Taitu saw this situation to be no different from the rest.

Taitu folded his arms before beginning to think out loud. "It's unfortunate that I could not infiltrate the Army with that. It seems I turned them into an enemy sooner than planned." Despite things not going as he had hoped, Taitu still manages to put on a smirk. "In any case, now a more direct approach will take on no further consequence I suppose," he contemplates his next move.

Taitu reaches up to remove his glasses, he begins to wipe at the lenses with the shirt he wore under his leather trenchcoat. A futile action as objects in this world did not accumulate dirt. Perhaps it was just something he acquired as a reflex in the real world, but for whatever reason it helped him more carefully plan out what to do next. "It seems we are getting fairly close to clearing the next floor. It would be unwise for me to chase after a rumor at this time."

Taitu returned his glasses to their place, spinning to turn around. His coat fluttered to the side with a satisfying rustling sound. "I would say it's time the 62nd floor saw my return," Taitu declares with a sense of determination in his voice.
