+1. Although I'm not laughing, I'm having a stroke. How do you do it?

I think I've had enough strokes reading this thread I forgot how to cry... which would be a much more fitting reaction considering some of the stuff posted in here are actually extremely common beliefs.

Threads like this make me feel better... This is why the USA doesn't deserve nice things. We don't deserve a great president, so there is no reason to get upset when we don't get one. (not ripping of Obama, just stating that I didn't expect either one to fix all of our problems).
Edit... I thought I getting to old to debate politics online but I guess not.

The current national debt is around $16,500,000,000,000 (16.5 Trillion Dollars) once it gets past 18 Trillion we are all screwed. Don't act like this has nothing to do with you. If the debt gets any more out of hand we will be paying 100% tax and the government will redistribute the wealth as they see fit. Not long ago we were at arms with communists about this very issue. I cannot believe it. If he turns around and gets the country back in order and reduces the national debt than I will gladly say he did a good job, until then he has failed and the debt shows that.

Brainwashed people who do not know change.

That's fine. The country wouldn't get better under Romney either.

So then we should just stay with the same bs for the last four years...we need a new person who can do better and Romney can and would do better. If all you have to say is either way nothing would change. Then read up on some facts then come back to me.

I don't believe Obama will be able to improve the US economy in the next 4 years but have no choice now but to support him as President and hope he does something good for America.

Not to make a statement one way or the other, but as a history major i'll just say that winning the presidency and doing something right don't always go hand in hand.

Republicans would argue that half of the country is just doing something wrong.

Even if Romney was vote president, nothing was going to change. All the crap happen in Congress. In a split Congress with both side not budging from where they stand; nothing is going to happen. Want thing to change? Go pester you representative and force him to make the choice you desire.

Sorry, I just enjoy seeing how pissed and annoyed Romney fans get. I really couldn't care less.

I dont see how anyone could seriously feel Obama is somehow good.

Lets just go over some basic stuff.

Obama had 2 years with complete Senate and House control. He clearly did not care about bipartisanship then.

Due to the lack anything positive relating to the economy (Bailing out GM wasnt somehow good and it wont not have led us into a Depression as so many on the Left say it would) the Republicans took over the House.

Now obviously they got elected to try and turn this country around. So what does Obama do? Blame all attempts at fixing this country on Republicans by saying they are blocking his stuff, when Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid wont even pass a budget nor let any Republican proposals come onto the floor to a vote. So Obama cant claim that he was the only one having their stuff blocked.

By the way, Obama sent a budget to the Dem Senate that got voted down 97-0, so that had nothing to do with Repub obstructionism, that had everything to do with his budget being such a pathetic piece of garbage, that his own party voted it down.

But seriously, we obviously have a spending problem, and anybody who has taken basic economics knows that you need to cut spending and attempt to have pro growth policies like getting rid of regulations, reforming the tax code, and cutting spending (Bonus: Get rid of the Fed), but all of that gets totally swamped out by Democrat themes of "Equality!" "Social Justice!" "Fairness!"

It has absolutely nothing to do with logic fact or reason, just a bunch of emotional tripe.

And yeah I guess Im done for this post, as you can tell Im a butthurt Romney supporter.

I feel terrible about this, but reading everyone's reactions makes me laugh a lot. That's about it, really. Probably a bit too much panic in this thread, though.
