S3. It's cheaper, and it looks and performs better than the 5, only downside is that the S3 doesn't have a big of an app library as the 5.

My S3 gets a lot of use, and I highly recommend it.

Nexus 4. It is the best Android phone and it is $300 and $350 off contract. The Galaxy S3 is also powerful but it will not get updated like the Nexus. It similar to the iPhone when it comes to being updated but with even better features.

They are both great options, I've always had the iPhone so I got the 5. The S3 is a great phone and probably the better option for viewing things but it felt too big for me personally.

I felt it was too big too. But now that I'm used to the size, other phones seem to have miniature screens.

I have yet to see a program that slows mine down.

s3 big time. I have the S3 and my girlfriend has an iphone 5 and we both love the S3 over the iphone. The bigger screen is great if you do any media. I watch crunchyroll on it all the time. I don't really see the "smaller app store" as someone put it, for the most part you can get everything on android that is on iphone.

Well, i'd say it depends on what you need it for. If you need it for entertainment, games, etc. then iPhone is what you want. If you're looking for more of a Multimedia phone, then i'd say the S3 is better. If you need an explanation, here it is. On the iPhone, there is more support for Applications/Games. The games are then ported onto the Android, but originally developed for the iOS. If you're not much of a Gamer/Entertainment fan, i recommend the S3. If either gaming or web browsing are your key priorities, the choice seems a fairly easy one.

I'll stick with my iPhone as I don't like my phones made of cheap plastic. I also enjoy updates on a regular bases, good luck getting those new OS updates from Android.
